  1. Hi Kevin, Disc 2 was a pain. it only seemed to move on properly after i left it for the night. leaving it for 5 minutes didnt seem to work. although i did disc1 with the engine idling i got bored hanging around so did the updates whilst driving. keep trying. it'll work eventually. garethkd1
  2. No worries. I'll send to K370z2 once i have an address
  3. I haven't been reading for a bit. Is there 2 sets going as i have just finished with mine. If RobinC is recieving a set from Harryjax shall i forward onto K370z2? if so. K370Z2 PM me your address buddy
  4. Got the discs! (Been away) disc 1 done and disc 2 had had a couple of fails so far. It'll be probably till end of the week before its done due to travelling to London etc. will post on ASAP. Cheers
  5. I'm guessing paid should have read PM'd. iPhone
  6. Collapsible traffic cones are the way forward. Surround ur car. Keep the old dears away
  7. The data protection thing is rubbish. The store manager is free to view the footage whenever he likes. If he were to witness the incident then he would be able to tell you the registration so whats the difference looking at CCTV. There is none. Ask him to keep the footage and burn it onto a disc. Attend your local nick. Failing provide your details within a certain time (different in Scotland) is an offence. Therefore the culprit has committed a criminal offence. Complain to a supervisor. Dont be fobbed off by the desk person. I'm sure once a supervisor meets you and you've calmy explained the story, how hard you saved etc etc and there is CCtV they put a report on. If they dont, complain to independant police authority of Scotland. Just make sure the manager dont record over CCTV. I'd tell him the police will be around.
  8. ooooh yes please. if someone has finished i shall certainly benefit from them, then pass them on to allow another to.
  9. Welcome, i went with esure via Sergio (where's my toy?) and it was cheaper than my Audi A3 Diesel. why not call a local Nissan dealer to put your mind at ease? i'd get the car then get nissan to perform a simple oil / filter change and stamp your book. less likely to encounter trouble i reckon. get it
  10. I meant to add. A method of testing whether the problem is your switch is to use your foot to pull the pedal towards you ( ie put your foot behind it ) so it moves away from the switch a bit and try the CC and see if it works. ðŸ‘ðŸ˜
  11. Hi all, Anyone got some before and after photos of spacers fitted. Thinking about it but would like to see if its worth it. Cheers all
  12. Relieved? Well only because it now works. Not that I'll actually use it. But I like to know that as I've paid for it, it's there. Next up is my fuel cap lock. The actuator assay broke and they are going to fix it under warranty. Do stone chips come under warranty too?
  13. It's fixed and quite a simple one too. As suspected, even after reading the manual (only for that section of course) i confirmed I was using it correctly. Turns out there are two switched on te brake pedal. One for the cruise control and one for everything else. The switch for the cruise was being partially depressed or sticky and therefore the cruise thought i was braking and turned the cruise off. Ie it never turned on in the first place. So easy fix. The dealer is happy to show your where the switch is and only needs a spanner. Hopefully this'll help someone else out of warranty.
  14. Well, the issue is it doesn't work. The symbol appears in the dash, and the LCD screen says cruise control but the toggle switch doesn't change anything. The toggle switch works for the speed limiter so it can't be that. Any ideas? Maybe the computer needs a reset, has anyone suffered similar problems? It's only 2 years old so still in warranty and is as standard. Cheers
  15. Isn't there someone on here who tows a caravan? Be interesting to see what he gets!
