  1. London underground steve. My Uncle works for them in maintenance and gets a decent pay packet and a bloody good pension with lots of holidays. Unsociable hours mind you but still, Good money and a secure job. Worth a thought i'd've thought.
  2. You mean these don't work.... Sorry about that Andy. I guess I fell for the marketing blurb. Does this work for... ehherrm, you know, ye ol'jolly toger ?
  3. Very Nice indeed. it's a good looking merc. EDIT: And a nice 350 you've got there
  4. I don't think the cobra non res is all that bad at all. i found it quite civilised driving through town and a light foot on the motorway @ 70 was just fine for me.
  5. Sorry, not it's not, it's punctuation, not grammar.
  6. Might be a broken hand brake shoe on one side? (assuming modern cars still use them)
  7. They'll always be some tit turd that thinks where they're going is far more important than where you've got to go. Probably a mum in an MPV
  8. i never park next to SUVs or MPVs. Had so many experiences with kids flinging the back doors open like a garden gate, which then hit my car. When voicing my annoyance, i am then looked upon as if i were Hitler incarnate. I mean, how dare i get slightly miffed at the careless actions of young teenagers that is going to cost me money.
  9. i haven't a scooby doo.!! They work though. i'll try getting some of the other pics up How do you know if they work, have you crashed already Check out harness mounting specs buddy, they really wont operate correctly at that angle should the worse happen, god forbid. Not seen one of these for ages though, a welcome reminder Thanks for this as i have no idea about harnesses and how they should be set up. Having said that, they won't be in there for long. I'm Going to flog them as they are in really good nick and i think the passenger seat hasn't been sat in at all!.
  10. perhaps he meant that if you drive it like you stole it, it'll use more fuel, like any other car. But i have read on here somewhere that some members have managed to get just short of 40mpg from their zed on a good run. Which i think is quite incredible
  11. Good shout! i had no idea about that. I am currently a member of the GTiROC and things seem pretty spartan on there in regards to how many people get a response to getting parts, So this may help. Thanks guys
  12. I have started to source parts for the pulsar. i have decided to start with the interior trim, which to no surprise, is difficult but i'm getting there. things i need are: All interior plastics a better dash Centre console Roof interior trim Seats carpet sound deadening. May have found a dash and a glove box. I knew this was going to be like looking for the holy bloody grail but hey ho. All part and package of the fun.
  13. Shocking! (no pun intended) That really is just so slack and cavalier it's mind boggling Thank god nothing nasty happened.
  14. Assuming you didn't know (apologies if you do), you can adjust the bonnet by loosening the bolts/nuts on the hinges. Can turn into a right ol'game though.
  15. Yep, Samsung gets my vote too.
  16. No, Hyper-cars don't do it for me. I'm More of a retro persuasion.
  17. God, it must be a horrible feeling that i never want to experience. let's hope they catch the scum that did this with the return of the 370.
  18. This^ I also grew up watching Eubank, Ben, Tyson, Bruno, Riddick Bowe, Holyfield. Barry McGuigen ( or however you spell his name ) Maybe it's just my nostalgic memories of the fights but they seemed to be a bit more exciting. I never found boxers such as Hatten all that inspiring to watch. Prince Naseem was always great to watch. So **** sure of himself and produced great fights. There doesn't seem to be that same sort of rivalry these days.
  19. i have used my Zed as a weekend car on the whole and drive it to work on the occasional Monday but, i never thought about the cost as it IS a weekend car, thus not worried about the cost. Meaning it's probably nothing to worry about. Negligible
  20. A mate of mine had one of these and said it was a bitch to park. Was that true for you or was he just shite at parking?
  21. Not in any particular order: Nissan Pulsar GTiR Nissan Super March Nissan R34 GTR Nur Spec Mazda RX-7 Mazda 323f-GT-R Toyota Corolla AE86 (saloon) Honda Civic EG6 Sir Honda NSX Renault 5 Maxi turbo Lancia Stratos
  22. No, i hadn't In general, as most of my attention was seeking out chassis damage and the like. It has been re-sprayed so again, it wasn't on my radar. But, i'm sure you know when you clean a car you suddenly spot things you hadn't noticed before. It's just a very slight bubbling of paint and i'd expect it to have happened there. None the less it's getting cut out and sorted.
