  1. Wow! That surprises me Dan. I suppose thinking about it now you've mentioned it, i hadn't factored in that the mustang is an American muscle car thus a lot bigger than euro/jap equivalents.
  2. i was gonna say, he was lucky to have such great control moving at quite some speed with a blow out. Sounds nasty, almost mechanical.
  3. Practicality wise, it's got to be the GT-R. Simply because it has 4 seats and i'd assume is roomier than the mustang. I'd've thought the Cayman would be for just pure driving enjoyment over practicality.
  4. Same thing happened to me a while back. Replaced the slave and all has been well.
  5. 6200 rpm? Are you sure? Or is that just when the red limiter light blinks on? because you can adjust when the red limiter light can come on. I had my 05 DE re-mapped @ Abbey and it now revs to 7100 rpm. Not sure what revving the bollocks off it will do eventually but to be honest i never rev it that high.
  6. i have a fibre-glass GM grey N1-spec copy. Needs a slight repair due to stress marks but nothing major. If you're interested, i'll get you some pics.

  10. i have done it and all i can tell you is, having a ramp will make it 50% easier. i wouldn't want to tackle it on the drive way personally. N.B You'll more than likely need a blow torch.

  14. standard rev up did didnt it or have i got that mixed up ? if that's what they meant, then i take it all back, but they don't mention the revup. Mine is a bog standard zed which i believe ( and anyone else in the know will tell you ) on paper it says 276hp.
  15. i have Berks HFCs, a cobra y-pipe and an Agency power back box. it's stupidly loud, i had a Cobra resonated back box before which i think was far more civilized. It was quiet through town but had a nice "roar" to it when you put your foot down. it's a very good compromise. Highly recommend it.
  16. i too was a little disappointed with the final result. I also question banzai's knowledge on 350s. It says in their buyers' guide that the standard 350 came with 286 hp. No, no it didn't.
  17. I've got a E90 330d and i can't fault it. Nice ride, good economy (usually averages about 45mpg+ on a 30 min run) and a good power delivery. It's not a bad place to be inside either. yeah, it's grey black and silver inside but it's comfortable and cleverly thought out. I've never thought about another car for my daily since driving it 2 years ago.

  20. The only thing you need to know about Grimshaw is that he has a stupidly large quiff that'd rival Elvis. And if we're lucky, he might've choked to death on it during the accident.
  21. Congrats on the new job! But i know nothing about pugs, only that throw on the gear change is a kin to a combine harvester.
