  1. Hi all, used to own a 350z until 2013 and I'm sort of thinking about maybe getting another sometime soon in the future. Problem is it cannot be my main car as it is not practical enough. How many members have a 350z as a 'weekend'car and would you recommend doing it? Aside from the initial cost of buying the car, how much extra would the car cost me to keep the car per year? I bought my current car is250 thinking of a compromise I.e. rear wheel/v6 engine. I really do like the car but it is too refined. I missing the 350z loudness (Berk HFCs) and torque... It would be good to hear from you Thanks
  2. So would you say I am better off finding an import company here in the UK rather than one over in Japan?
  3. Hi, I am not sure if this is the right section or not but I just wanted to ask if anyone has had the experience of importing their own car from Japan. In the last few weeks I have been reading up on importing from Japan. Sure there are UK importers which will get the car here but then the price that I would have to pay is more than what I would have thought. I see that many Japanese car owners will sell their cars in an auction and traders which have a license can bid on the cars. I have been looking around and I see mixed reviews about importing your own car from Japan. Some people are under the impression that its a great thing to do but others are not too convinced. I have also read that you can check out the legitimacy of a company by looking at a Japanese government website. My question is has anyone used a Japanese import company to buy their own car and is it worth it? Secondly is there a company you recommend? Does anyone have any tips for me? Any other information would be welcome. Thank you in advance

    Which HID

Yes my car doesn't have xenon lights. I've read reviews on HID kits and some people have had bad experiences with the 'cheaper' units which make me slightly nervous now. After reading different post in different forums, some people have recommended: http://www.ebay.com/itm/330379335700?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/h7-canbus-pro-hid-xenon-conversion-35w-kit/ Any others people may recommend?

  8. Hi I have spotted these LEDs on eBay, they are DRLs and indicators, hard to find. What do you guys think? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=191245769252&alt=web http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/191245769252?nav=SELLING_ACTIVE
  9. Ah nice. Thank you for your replies. I had no problems with rust etc when taking them off so thats got to be a good thing. Will take a picture of them tomorrow and put them up for sale on here. Thanks very much
  10. I don't own a 350z anymore however I stumbled across some catalytic converters which I had changed for Berk HFC in Feb 2012. My question is, someone has told me they are worth more to the scrap metal place than they will be if I sell them as they are. Is this true? Thank you for your replies in advance
  11. Does it make a difference what type of parking it is. I.e. permit holder car park etc
  12. Thanks @Ricey. Does this still apply this year? I've been reading there was a few rules that changed last year. My cut off date for the first 2 weeks are on Sunday
  13. Hi all, Bit of advice needed if anyone knows. I am normally very careful in where I park, I do not leave my car anywhere in which I may get a ticket. I went for a wedding last weekend and I was told I could park opposite the building. When I got back to my car I had parking ticket. Foolish I know, I should have made sure I was 100% allowed to park in there rather than park in there, but what’s done is done and now I am looking at having to pay a fine of £60 to Inner Guard Security. I’m told Inner Guard Security cannot do this which is why I may get away with not paying the fine. I have been online and there are many people that have been in my position and have never paid the fine. I've read they do all they can to get the money from you but normally they just go away. Has anyone had an experience with this or does anyone know what to do? Should I pay it or just ignore it? Thank you in advance
  14. Thank you to everyone who replied. I will try getting the air out with the bottle in the radiator neck I'll let you know how I get on.
