    Shims

When I did use to use EBC they had a rubber backing on them already iirc.
  2. Do a quick search and look through the forum first, it's been asked over and over

    Less rasp

Can you sling a video up or find a similar example ?

    Less rasp

Can you provide a video clip of what YOU would describe as 'rasp' ? A ridiculously loud Honda sounds 'raspy' to me, and our v6's don't but yeah as Alex said that's possibly the culprit. (although I thought those ART pipes didn't do that).
  5. So roughly, adjustable camber arm + lockout washers (ideal), then adjust toe on the spring bucket arm with either Eibach/SPL adjustable bolts + a bit of dremelling with a #115 attachment I imagine. Or if loaded, get the SPL adjustable spring buckets
  6. What choice is there for the toe adjustment if you don't have 'true coilovers' - and still rely on the spring bucket ? (ignoring £600+ option) As it looks like the adjustable toe arms replace that no ?
  7. Not bad, saving pretty much £300 compared to their own site.
  8. I'm glad you brought this up Growling as I'm just about to purchase a few bits for the rear as well. I'm on Bilstein B6/Tein S spings and was going to get the rear adjustable camber arms with lockout bolts. But now it sounds like there won't be much choice to adjust the toe, hmm. EDIT: Ok, I just did some more reading (always helps), and now have realised the toe adjustment is from the oval washer on the spring bucket arm. So an adjustable camber arm + lock out washers should be fine, and will just have to hope for now there is enough adjustment on the bolts (I do have the eibach bolts in a box somewhere).
  9. Weheeey I didn't spot this until now. Finally, although it's a pity that you've had to do this but it's awesome nonetheless mate
  10. I'd recommend getting them skimmed as well, worth having done imho. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/97748-marcus-disc-skimmers-excellent/
  11. At least you won't get told off for being on the forum now, it's 'work'
  12. Yeah I went in a mates one last year - it was RIDICULOUSLY fast. Easily mapped to over 700bhp too.
  13. iirc the UK does actually have one of the very lowest prices for fuel... that's prior to our lovely government then putting duty AND vat on top of it. Perhaps if they stopped giving money to countries that don't require it, stop pretending to fight bs wars and sort out the sponging fookers over here, they wouldn't need to
  14. Looking forward to seeing how it shapes up, loving it so far
  15. I wish I had money to do stuff like this Adrian, get some finance on the site
  16. I posted this a while ago but might as well pop it up here. I found their blog pretty interesting to read, specifically on this intake: Part 1: http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2015/06/pure-vq-sound-mishimotos-350z-performance-intake-rd-part-1-intro-goals-and-initial-fabrication/ Part 2: http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2015/07/pure-vq-sound-mishimotos-350z-performance-intake-rd-part-2-fabrication-completion/ Part 3: http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2015/08/pure-vq-sound-mishimotos-350z-performance-intake-rd-part-3-dyno-testing-and-results/ Part 4: http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2015/09/pure-vq-sound-mishimotos-nissan-350z-performance-intake-rd-part-4-final-prototype-assembly/ I'm putting it on a wishlist, a few bits I'm after in the coming months mate and apologies if you didn't want the links up

    Traction

Yes those things are the obvious BUT with my friends car, he was on the Bridgestones (this was pre MPSS), car serviced, aligned etc etc - and I'm sure it was failed bushings. It was a 'Friday car' - on a test drive after one main servicing going from 5th to 6th - the gear stick dropped down like it was going to go into reverse on the motorway

    Traction

Aside from the things which others have said, my friend had a Z many years ago that also would do this. My one doesn't at all, and I suspected that it could be bushings which are worn out. So I'd recommend at least inspecting them after cleaning to see the condition, I can't remember how easy it is to check the differential bushings but also do it if you can.
  19. Very good kit, and worth doing imho.
  20. I sorted it out myself with help from Adrian supplying the kit: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/94723-rocker-cover-grommets-no-need-to-replace-entire-rc/
  21. There are a few threads on this kind of stuff on the my350z site for ex: http://my350z.com/forum/na-builds/601891-upper-plenum-project-75mm-maxima-tb.html http://my350z.com/forum/na-builds/578133-87mm-tb-project.html Will keep an eye on this
  22. If you just think its one "country" cheating you're an imbecile, more cold war BS in the media, what a surprise. (note - that's not pointed at anyone)
  23. I like what he has done. My shopping list definitely includes the diff, and rear camber arms next.
  24. I've not even watched it yet, just saw it pop up... Here is the list of parts and bits done: https://www.wheelwell.com/profile/54ff583d3cc054e476621b66/vehicles/54ff58953cc054e476621b73/parts/#Parts
