One of the cars I'm aiming at looking at this weekend has had this work done: Full Nissan service history Clutch and fly wheel changed: April 2007 Rear brake pads and discs: September 2012 Front brake pads: 2010 Tyre tread - 5mm front, 4mm (appx) rear. Rear wheel bearings: December 2008 Platinum plugs: April 2009 Drive belts: August 2011 Y pipe: September 2012 K1 exhaust: 2008 Bodywork blemishes: Small scratch on the rear bumper Couple of car park dinks (close inspection) Typical stone chips on the bonnet and bumper I'm currently awaiting some high resolution images, as it's a little bit of a trek to just go and take a look. Just wondered what you guys think ? Many thanks.

Obviously as a to-be owner here but after reading various forums and what not, I thought I read that the clutch line is near the manifold, thus up-rated fluid helps but perhaps some heat shielding could be of use as well ? This could be a US thing only at a guess but is that how many miles has been done on that clutch ?

Cheers guys. It definitely feels like the right car to go to next, although I want to see if I can store the MR2 somewhere as I love driving the little bugger. I'm going to view a couple more this weekend, and I wouldn't mind passing on some details to someone in a PM to see what they think of it ? It would be really helpful to me (and shall be rewarded with a pint! )

Definitely going to go for a 350z (black/coupe/04-05 maybe 06 if price is ok) after driving a couple this weekend. Prices are a bit weird but I'd rather purchase from the club, so feel free to pm.

Hey guys, I'm looking at potentially getting into a 350z and of course my first port of call was to sign up here One of my best mates had one a few years ago, although his experience was soured due to one of the nissan garages not doing good work which nearly resulted in a serious accident (one of their mechanics was on board at the time as well). However, other people that I know which had them in the past haven't reported a bad thing, so I'm not put off one bit I guess my only concern is will the power be enough, although I'm more than positive it'll be plenty on day to day driving for time to come. I'm curious if anyone had gone to or come from an RX7/Supra/MR2 - and your thoughts on that. And yes, I'll be taking full advantage of the search
