  1. Cheers, guess its a case of getting the most compact I can...
  2. I've done a search but there's no obvious answer that I can see, I see some have managed to make a normal bike fit by taking it apart, but what about a folding bike? I'm considering picking up another Zed next year but it would be handy if it could take something like that as I often park a mile or mile and a half from the city centre and walk in the way, but I'm looking at something to save time; before anyone suggests it, I hate running I'd spend any time difference getting showered afterwards which defeats the point.

  4. Just be careful, I am crap at buying cars, so I managed to buy an 06 model that was the old 276 version, so got no benefits whatsoever but still paid the higher tax. If you do go for an 06+ model at least make sure you get the benefits If I was buying a Zed again I'd try and stretch for the 313 model as it does sound like its a lot better than my 276 version.
  5. Ive had both 350z gt and now Z4. TBH both are 2 seaters and both can be had in coupe and roadster. The 350z defo is alot more spacious and comfortable compared to the z4. I would probably say the 350z is the better alround car and better as an everyday drive. But as i had bought a brand new 320i sport plus which cost the earth, i would have lost a fortune trading it in so new for a 350Z. But i got a great trade in against the Z4 from bmw. So i'll probably drive the Z4 for a year or so then sell it private and buy another 350Z. BMW ended up giving me £3700 more trade in than anywhere else offered me, so i can take a lose on the Z4 when the time comes to sell it. Also the Z4 has always been on my list anyway. The only negative about the 350Z is the rad tax and fuel consumption which i have halved with the Z4 but as someone will point out im sure, ive lost a fair wake of performance. But i dont care because im as happy as a pig in @*!# just now! Don't blame you then if you got a good trade in. Few things are more painful than losing a shedload more than you imagined when selling a car (I should know). Half the running costs?! Starting to wish I'd got one instead, might not have had to sell it. OK, maybe not as quick in a straight line, but round the corners, nowt in it I'd wager, and I doubt it has half the performance either, it'll probably only be a tad slower particularly to 60.
  6. Although I presume your asking about 03, 04 and 05 for tax reasons, I'm wanting to sell my 2006 Roadster GT, its high mileage, and no service history, but it will be very cheap (as in you won't find much cheaper anywhere + I'm open to offers) and its been a good car for me, no real problems. If you want to know more then PM me. I can't put an advert on here because I don't have enough posts.
  7. I would, but I've got VERY low standards! Looks pretty acceptable to me
  8. How do these compare with the Zed? This was one of my other contenders when I bought my 350Z.
  9. I had one of these up my chuff last weekend on the A1, with some middle aged lady driving it. When I say up my chuff, I mean in that typical "I'm in a beemer, you will move out of my lane" kind of way. Well, I booted it all of the way up to a speed which is best left to the imagination, and I didn't pull much of a distance on it at all. I let her past (she looked a right misery as well), and that's when I spied the 330d badge. I'm having to sell the Zed (too much to run) and thought of one of these, but I reckon it'll be susceptible to the "bork" (i.e. be unreliable).
  10. I had a DC2 ITR a few years ago and have driven the EP3 CTR. The CTR isn't really in the same league as the Zed or the ITR, its quick, capable and it's quite good fun, but it lacks character. I even chose my Clio 182 over it, despite the latter having crap build quality. The Zed has loads of character, and torque, and I think it handles quite well, but to get proper thrills, you have to go much faster than you would in the Hondas IMO. The DC2 was a brilliant car for B-road blasting, I reckon it was definitely more fun than the Zed and not much slower in a straight line below 100. It just really liked being grabbed by the neck and it did handle better but it made you drive like a ****, as it wasn't that special at normal speeds (although better than the CTR here) and as with all VTECs pretty highly strung. Much better than the CTR though IMO. The Zed always feels good to drive so is more liable to be driven sensibly, but that said, it can certainly act the hooligan when you want and your licence will be in danger! Having said that, the Type-Rs are cheaper to run by far. Wish I could afford to keep both.
  11. Should I sand it? Tried it with my nail but I'd be there all day.
  12. Weird thing is, the rest of it is in excellent condition for its age. I know it was a blonde "TOWIE" style woman because I've smelt the seat.
  13. My theory. Its a high mileage car, 138K miles. Previous owner was a woman. I reckon, blonde, orange skin, long nails type. Nails have scratched the button!? Yeah, it is a mess, now you know why I want to sort it out. So, I gather it is this.... ... that I am facing!?
  14. Lovely. Wish I could afford to run something like that... even the Z is a stretch! Enjoy!
  15. It's so you can perv at the pretty girl in the car behind, and not get caught, isn't it?
