  1. Welcome back mate ! Looked like a mega trip for both work and, dare I say it... culture Now. GET BACK TO WORK
  2. I have a very good mate that does this if anyone needs it doing, decent quality stuff that's used on various supercars. Being as you're from Surrey and mention supercars, are you referring to Valet Magic? They do a LOT of supercars and are impeccable http://cgperformance.co.uk/services/paint-protection-film/ Lots of options available but I know the owner as a friend, totally trust

  4. I saw a fibreglass boot go for about £130 or so.
  5. It's funny there's an insistent dude on the US forums saying they are junk (not sure if he meant all or just one or two parts)
  6. Actually, may delete this thread - a friend just told me he has one
  7. Hey guys, I just wondered if anyone had a press for pushing out old bushings that I could borrow/hire ? Or if I could be pointed in the right direction. I thought about buying a 12 ton press but I really don't know how much I'd use it
  8. I'll repeat it once more. I'm going to make a prototype, if it works or not I shall say. Quite simple.
  9. Right a very mini update. It's going to do what I want, felt firmer after just putting some resistance against it. So with a brace against it, you'll feel it I'm positive. So having a good look, I prefer the mounting point of the stillen, which is the strut tower. The Z1 piece mounts at the suspension top mount, which I don't think is a good idea. More updates soon lads.
  10. Plenty of guides on our forum, as well as my350z.com And use youtube. Z33 Garage is good.
  11. Haha, at least that's about a cheap a fix as it can be. I still recommend checking the shocks out sooner than later. My ones had died ages before I realised really. Heh.
  12. Awesome stuff. No better way to learn than by pulling it apart !
  13. Looking forward to hear what you think of the new suspension. Full review pretty please
  14. How many miles has your Z done ? As I agree with the other guys, jack the car up, remove the wheels, dampers and springs to see how quickly the piston rod in the damper extends out. My ones were all completely knackered, once compressed they really didn't ever extend out !
  15. Aye, we aren't saying anything different at all, and it was a little tongue in cheek too mate I'm ordering RC5+ next so I, like you and others, can just tell my experience for the next person researching.
  16. Yep. Wasted a lot of time on this to get no concrete answer. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk Well there are plenty of recommendations that YOU have to try out to see what you think bud. I don't think it was a waste at all, it shows there are plenty of options to try out. Too much winter negativity at the moment
  17. I did it exactly like my photos, wheels off. http://matt-pack.co.uk/
  18. Haha. Yes I'm still using them as they were, no flaking or any problems except for where I touched a kerb, so I'll need to blend in a little to cover that up soon. Otherwise, I'm hugely impressed with how well they have lasted. I'll get some proper photo's on the weekend.
  19. As mentioned in the other thread as well, I'll be going to RC5+ next.
  20. Ooh yeah I forgot about XP8's as well (for my uses). I only hear good about all of those, so maybe I'll lucky dip (learning towards RC5+).
  21. I have just about recovered from hurting the same area... was done during bb squats. Basically for me, I think I had my grip too close whilst it was low in a low bar position on my back. I've switched to a wide grip following what this chap advised:
  22. Good thread ! I'm thinking for my next pads to try, either CL RC5+ (or RC6?) - or PF01 I just couldn't find some specific details on the pads, coefficient of friction, temps etc. I'm currently on DS2500 which have tons of life in them for now, just thinking ahead later. Note - my wheels are plastidipped, matte grey, cleaning them is rare and I'm used to the squealing from them
  23. Yep I've done the looking but once again, it's a case of try it myself and see Measuring and possibly mocking something up this weekend to test out, and hopefully talking to a guy that could fabricate something.
