  1. Cheers fellow Farnhamer Hodaka I shall get some sealant for it before fitting them, it has crossed my mind after I saw the water issue.
  2. Yey my ones arrived at the office on Friday, just opened them up now Nicely packed too ! I'll get them on this weekend.
  3. I nearly buggered up the downward bolts on the front underside brace, I took it off for a coat of por15, and used the torque gun to pop the nut back on... Started cross threading the nut, luckily not the bolt. (so found another 19mm bolt and put the nut on backwards to rethread it) Fingers before tool.
  4. Well after pedalling around a little more, not too much as I'm still waiting for some other parts from the US, and require my geo sorting after but... I can definitely say they have improved gear shifting even more, the 'box feel's lovely now. Also the transmission of power to the wheels has noticeably improved, far, far less slack now and as mentioned before the engine isn't floating up ahead, so the suspension is doing more of what it should do
  5. Chin up, pecker up and keep up with the fabrications and the shed mate I've GOT to learn how to weld stuff this year
  6. Better that you see it all or someone will moan about that !
  7. This is the other vid of the same thing if any use.

Just watching this at work, I love BM. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Xj88V3cIZQ
  9. Patience is usually required, as long as it's not urgent, the right one will show up. Worth making a wanted thread.
  10. TBH supermondo you're going to be better off buying a known good car from here, I've bought all of my cars from owners clubs rather than dealers. If you need finance I'd look at a company or bank loan for it. Just my 2p's worth of advice
  11. Ultimately that doesn't matter too much as it's the team that surrounds them which sway them one way or another. He knows how to get decent people around him, that is strength and wise. (now as to whether they'd be good, hah who knows!)
  12. That hasn't got much to do with the EU mate I like him, and sadly I see a crap ton of mis-information being banded around which is large catalysed from the opposition. Careful where you get your 'information'.
  13. Possible, no idea dude, chassis work for me is important, doing what I can to improve it to how I want it to be. (good on b roads, and a track day here and there)
  14. Pros and cons?? No cons mate (except for £227.86), the engine is kept in place rather than floating around. Worth doing the bushings on the rest of the drive-line though, gear change feels a crap ton better (but I had other bits done before the engine mounts). Ultimately it depends what you want from your car. If you do go with vibra-technics I've got the road ones, they also do a track one, no added vibration from my road ones that I can notice.
  15. If you can, I recommend the vibra-technics mounts that I got installed yesterday mate (considering the motor is out) Great work dude !
  16. And another post this time with the pipe work for it: http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2016/03/350z-silicone-intake-hose-rd-part-2-test-fit-and-testing/?utm_source=bronto&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Image+-+http://engineering.mishimoto.com/2016/03/350z-silicone-intake-hose-rd-part-2-test-fit-and-testing/&utm_content=Dyno+Results:+350Z+Intake+Hose&utm_campaign=Blog+Blast:+MMHOSE-350Z-03IH+Part+2&_bta_tid=3.AIXM.CAurMg.F3H3.AUq9Xg..AgxdAg.s..s.AjpT.n...evrBkQ&_bta_c=jeuyyo109y969q3p9t6ufoio4ac0d
  17. I sometimes use BG44K. Do some searching, it's pretty good, a little bit of snake oil and a little bit of what it says on the tin (imho).
  18. I thought this thread was going to be about condoms. Disappointed.
  19. I'll have better feedback once I've driven on some roads near my mum's place, I know them very well and how the car reacts
  20. If you don't go for a solid option, these guys do a track oriented version of the mounts as well mate
  21. I've just landed back home from a trip to Kaizer Motor as it's certainly not a job I was up for doing, even with access to a car ramp. A HUGE thank you to Sly and the team, they are a brilliant bunch and are worth heading over to. A couple of things to point out, I did want to take some snaps to show others but I didn't want to get in the way of the guys working on it so I left them to it. You'll probably need to do what they did and have a piece of 1/2inch square rod welded to a socket, as access to one of the bolts isn't even visible ! Lastly, it sounded like there is one bolt that goes into the engine block, obviously this is one you do NOT want to f-up. Check that thread I linked a few posts back as that will show you just how tricky it is, and much credit to the Kaizer team I didn't hear one swear word shouted out at the car or me My journey back was just slow going motorway guff as I was up around 5:30am, and feeling the burn. However what I can say is that I can't feel an increase in vibration at all, most probably because I have various parts changed to poly or spherical bushings already. The engine feels far more connected to the chassis now, it's very noticeable when you go over undulations as the car feels connected to the road now whereas before it would float up momentarily then come down. So far it's all positive, aside from spending a wee bit of cash but the car feels tight The engine damper is still connected but on the weekend I'll still get a video to show with it on/off. Here are the old ones: (a bit of weight saving from the VT's - they come in around 1025g)
  22. One of my favourite channels, so thought I'd share this:
  23. Although I'm doing some other bits first, as I mentioned I am going to test and document how Ceramic Pro holds up. It's permanent but as to how well it lasts against stone chips, we'll find out. It's not like other products that I've seen btw.
  24. Yeah right, you already have the WF kit !
