Maybe try a thicker oil like 10w40? Max to Min is 1.5L which sounds a tad high for 1000 miles! A lot if these engines seem to use a bit of oil, but as long as you keep checking then should be no real issues... maybe worth putting a bit away each month in case the worst happens eventually.
They're all still smug-mobiles for the super rich who don't rely on an EV as their only means of transport.
Wake me up when you can buy one for less than £20k and I might consider for the daily commute. I'd still want a proper car for the weekends though.
Are you tracking your car a lot or is this just for general driving? I think the MPSS would be better in the wet and last longer. I assume the cup 2 are more expensive as well?
It displays your location on the full website (If you've entered one - which you have)
I don't know which 3 dealers Pritchard is thinking about, but I would suspect RS Tuning in Leeds will be your closest.
I'd still happily have one, but I do see why some people are up in arms about the change to smaller all turbo engines. I've been much more interested in the Cayman since the 981 was released anyway... happily that's a more realistic purchase than a £90k 911 (Realistic price once a few options are added). I'm sure both the Cayman and Boxster will follow suit to 4 pot turbos in the next year or two. It's the way all manufacturers are going.
It could be worse though... could be electric!
Yup, build your own bud.
I'd budget £1k personally.
Case 80 - 200
Power 50 - 150
Mother board 100 - 300
CPU - 150 - 400
Graphics card 150 - 500
Memory 100 - 200
Hard drive 40 - 150
The above is the average range of pricing for a decent build (Don't choose the bottom end prices for everything. But that gives you an idea of the break down cost)
You'll probably want a monitor too!
See that on FB all the time. Unless you know someone with a bodyshop, that is going to be an expensive job. There's a rocket bunny kit which is similar and a few others, but from what I've seen you're looking at £4k+ before fitment.
I made about 283 WHP, which I think is around 310 engine once you minus what you lose from the drive train... I think I also gained about 30 Torque. Not huge numbers, but you can't really make big numbers on an NA Zed.
I've got one fitted, but I had mine done at the same time as a spacer, sports cats and remap, so difficult to pinpoint how much this added (if anything). I think you need a spacer to get any benefit from it and probably a remap is required too?
Can you hold this for a year please until after my wedding!?
Absolutely gutted I can't have this as it is exactly what I want to replace the 350 with... (Scaffolding removed ofc).
