  1. No one said they had to be interesting or exciting, so by those terms, a Megane qualifies as a bargain!
  2. Happy to help test the site by ordering cheaper goods Adrian!
  3. Was thinking the same. Why would the resonated Y be nearly £300 more than the straight pipe? If the straight pipe is really £148, then I'm all over it as it'll almost be a cheap as replacing the flexi's!
  4. Nice, always had a soft spot for the RS Clios... Not the new shape one though, that looks gash!
  5. It probably isn't a large company, maybe 1-1-2 people. If one is sick or has family members in hospital, then "Customer Service" isn't really a factor. I'm sure they'll be in contact as soon as they can be and will explain the situation. Everything isn't always dodgy, sometimes @*!# happens... sucks when it happens to you, but it isn't the end of the world!
  6. When I read Dan's post earlier I went straight onto Autotrader and started looking for Caymans, but the IMS / bore score just terrifies me. A sorted one for £15k is pretty hard to beat though. You can get some older Merc AMG stuff for crazy money now, but they would be ruinous if anything went wrong too. As someone else has mentioned, the newer shape XKR is hard to ignore for £20-30k. Some older Maser's are starting to look inviting, the 4200 for around £15k and a Granturismo for £30k... but again, scary running costs.
  7. The thickness and or any warping, as you can always have the discs skimmed if there is enough meat on them. I know my discs need replacing as they are starting to rust, but quality discs should last years unless you are tracking loads.
  8. Nismo catback with HFC's, because I love how it sounds! You can't buy Nismo's anymore, so if it were me, I'd go for the Invidia as I've never heard a bad word about them from anyone who has one.
  9. This thread is pornographic... only the sexy lady is getting slowly dressed!
  10. I'm glad I'm not the only miserable old bastard on here.
  11. Radio 1 lost it's appeal when I reached my late 20's. I was never really into pop / chart music anyway, but Radio 1 really isn't aimed for the over 25's, so has even less appeal nowadays. I think Chris Moyles is a big fat slug who couldn't take the same abuse/jokes he dishes out to other people... just mho, not meaning to rile the CM fan club. I'd still rather listen to him that Sara Cox though... Sadly Radio 2 is where it's at for me... I never thought I'd ever be able to tolerate Chris Evans, but listening to Simon Mayo on the way home reminds me of my yoof!
  12. My 2p as I am about to buy new discs and pads all round... I just don't want to be the guy who gets caught out. Chances are, with better brakes you'd be even less likely to have a smash in the first place. Just watch out for people behind you who can't stop as quickly! Why do people do this? Ive done 15+ trackdays on the standard discs and the car has never ceased to amaze me at how well it stops, even after 25 minute sessions. The brembo discs are bloody good, youd look at changing calipers before the discs and if the calipers arent good enough for you Id suggest trying out for GT Academy OEM discs are much more expensive than almost all the aftermarket stuff listed (Bar the top spec DBA and Performance Friction). So, assuming you don't want to pay over the odds for Brembo discs and you need a like for like replacement. I.E. No worse than the Brembos, what do you go for without breaking the bank? That is basically what the OP (And most people looking for new brake) wants to know.
  13. That's basically the Nismo v3, so some came from the factory looking like that too! Not the best, but then it is supposed to be functional aero, so looks maybe were a secondary concern.
  14. Glad you got it sorted. There's always Firefox or Opera if you get sick of IE?
  15. Some wire wool stuffed into some beer cans and welded on as cats also get better press than anything made by crapspeed.
  16. I'd drive it. I think the Amuse looks better in white though... I rarely find I like any kit in Azure... even though it's my favourite Zed colour?
  17. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/unable-to-uninstall-google-chrome-close-all/21b1d42d-0eba-49af-a809-016e9331056c?auth=1 Sounds like Google Chrome Helper or another Chrome process is still active. Kill all these then try to uninstall.
  18. That doesn't look chavy because it's Amuse's show car. If you see the specs and cost which went into it then I'd bloody hope they could do a decent job. I'm not saying that you can't by the way and I personally do like the look of the kit, but it's such a striking look then anything slightly untoward with the fitment etc. will be magnified and ruin the impact of the kit. I am looking forward to seeing what you do!
  19. Are you running a proxy or firewall? Using Chrome is a nightmare behind our work's proxy, but IE is fine for some reason... I'd uninstall Chrome, restart then reinstall. I know it's obvious, but there may be a setting or something which will be reset with a fresh install.
  20. The superleggera kit is great, right up until you see the rear... which is ghastly imo. Same thing puts me off the Nismo v3 which is a fantastic look ruined by the arse. The Do Luck kind of flows with the Amuse skirts, but equally it may look awful... Sorry, no help at all, but without seeing a picture it's hard to see whether they would work together or not?
  21. Nice! I was tempted myself, but my number plate would look silly in the JDM format... PA03 DDY
  22. Too big to be an exhaust, can only be bodywork surely? Front and Rear Bumpers... but what kind?
  23. You should be fine... I moved mine manually loads before I read it was a no no... just did the peddle dance... which was an f'in nightmare and everything was fine.
  24. Love your Zed mate, a real corker! E-Type's not bad either!
