  1. If I'm going we could probably meet up in Manchester and head up in our zeds together
  2. I was in my Sunset coupe opposite direction. By the time I spotted you it was too late to wave
  3. A nice low mileage example you've found there..... congratulations.
  4. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=363293&highlight=Cover+moisture http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=393246&highlight=Cover+moisture Check out the 2 posts above. I reckon if you contact Raceglazer in the threads above you'll be headed in the right direction as the wrong cover can not only scratch the paint but cause blooming/cloudiness IN the paint too!
  5. Those seats are to die for......very inviting
  6. Thanks for the in depth review. I have a car that had a plastic bumper repair about 5 years ago. It was filled and painted with textured paint very well, but has now faded terribly. You've convinced me that this is THE PRODUCT for the job
  7. Alot of members find them ok for the zed......for £12 it's worth it for the zed alone but I'm sure will work for many others too
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MaxiScan-MS309-Scanner-OBD2-OBDII-EOBD-Code-Reader-Diagnostic-Tool-UK-STOCK-/272600828786?hash=item3f78468b72%3Ag%3AqJYAAOSwosFUXIVj&_trkparms=pageci%253Acebe22bc-4edf-11e7-aa7b-74dbd180c565%257Cparentrq%253A98b9043e15c0aa41561b9f3ffffa6366%257Ciid%253A2 Try one of these. I used to do pedal dance for years untill a member showed me his Maxiscan reader. For a handful of pound coins it saves a lot of faffing about
  9. That reflection shot makes it look like your zed has a Klingon cloaking device Looks as if the reflection is part of the background
  10. All that trouble of breaking into a car for a centre console. Sounds like someone has a zed with a damaged console and nicked yours for parts. I hope the lowlife ends up with his car getting written off by an uninsured driver as recompense for his actions!
  11. Oh yes and I forgot...... WELCOME to the OC. I've had my zed 12 years and still gives me a buzz when I fire her up or give her a good detail. I'm sure you'll love Zed ownership
  12. If I was looking for a zed I'd certainly be looking for a forum members car with alot of history on the OC of maintenance etc. If budget is tight the last thing you want is to be having to shell out a grand here and there on clutch/flywheel, zorst, discs/pads, damn....even tyres will easily set you back a few bob on a zed. The zed can appear to be a bargain but an unloved one can cost you alot in maintenance.
  13. The rims really set off the rest of the car Didn't want to mention before but on the black rims it looked as if something was missing.......kinda like a beautiful model with a few teeth missing
  14. Just heading he from a night out. Saw your zed parked on the same road with Tarmac stickers in the window. Rims were looking slick
  15. Veegee sent me this awesome lego crash in slomo
  16. Maybe Castrol have an abundance of Magnatec that they've been trying to get rid of
  17. Very interesting to hear the man from Castrol recommend Magnatec! I always considered this their budget oil. With the many offers available on Castrol egde I'd stick with that over Magnatec. For most average commuters I'm sure Magnatec is fine but I'm sure every zed will enjoy at least the occasional spirited drive where the oil will be under a little more stress. In such cases I'd always pick a fully synthetic over a semi like Magnatec.
  18. Nice zed there. Don't see many red examples and I think that's the first time I have seen those rims on a zed.
  19. It was a sad day when you posted a video of the new owner driving off with your zed as he never seemed to post on here afterwards. Your black Zed was one of my all time favorites. Glad to see you back BIGHER AND BETTER
  20. Go for it for peace of mind. Unless you've got a bunch of bananas for a hand, I can't see you c0cking up an oil change. Like you said...... nobody will ever know unless they have a special serial number etched on the crush washer that they check In fact I used to do the same on my wife's Mini. The service schedule was every 2 years as she only did 3k miles a year. I just changed the oil alternate years when Mini wouldn't as part of the TLC package. Never had anyone find out as I never told them. Just find it even more crazy to not change oil until 2 years let alone after the first 1000miles.
