  1. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=397827 Lovely detail on a lovely zed
  2. Lovely Zed. I've seen other yellow ones in the flesh and photos never do the colour any justice. The paint glows in the sun like it's on fire
  3. AXA for me too via Adrian Flux. Just a smidge under £300 for past 4 yrs covering my bodykit and rims in South Manchester.
  4. Went Costco and got me 5 x 4 litres of Castrol Edge 0w30. 20% off until the 27th I think. Works out £25.90 including vat. Filled my belly with a hotdog and Pepsi Max for £1.50. Then went to fill up the Zed at their petrol station with 99 Ron unleaded which is almost 10p a litre cheaper than Shell Vpower! GOTTA LOVE COSTCO
  5. Welcome to the OC. I still think the touring alloys are better looking than the lighter 18 inch Rays upgrade. Look especially tasty when gleaming underneath your well kept black Zed
  6. A very nice example of a lovely Zed
  7. http://www.obsidiandetailing.com I've seen Matt at work. A true master and perfectionist. Workshop is often a meeting place for Detailing World meets and tuition days. He also offers opportunities for owners to work alongside to learn and help in the process. Not sure of prices as I'm sure each car is unique in it's needs and owners expectations and would need to be viewed to be assessed. Check out some of his work below! http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=392955
  8. Congratulations. Hope you're enjoying the weekend with your new Zed. Where abouts are you based?
  9. I can't make Coventry on Saturday but am free for this on Sunday. Anybody still planning on going to Manley Mere?
  10. Although I was lucky enough to get this yesterday for £99.99, I charged it up, used it today and NADA Motor sounded like it was working but not even a drop got sucked up into the hose let alone any output the other end! Hopefully I'll get a working replacement from Argos next week.
  11. I'm liking the concaveness of them wheels ..........and oh yes, welcome to the OC
  12. Worx Hydroshot now £99.99 at Argos. For those like me without an outside tap and too far from the kitchen tap, this may be handy. Mine is charging. Will come back with my own feedback soon
  13. Apart from a monitor, one thing I used ALOT was a my phone with unlimited minutes in the kids room ringing our spare PAYG phone which I hooked up to a Bluetooth earpiece. I could then do the garden ( detail the car ;b ) and if I heard a peep go and check on them in the cot.
  14. You got some funky fog reversing lights there
  15. Now anyone driving behind you has the intimidating view of what appears to be a couple of Gatling guns pointing back at them A definite mandatory mod for owners of such a fine exhaust in my opinion
  16. Great to see you still have the zed. Had mine since 2005 too. Back then Zeds were even more of a head turner. I remember in 05 people stopping me whilst stuck in traffic asking to take photos with the car
  17. Glad to hear you managed to find a good example. Welcome to zed ownership
  18. Happy hunting Daz Awaiting pics of your zed when you get one
  19. Really feel for you gangzoom. From your other threads it's obvious that you felt as passionate about your Tesla as we all feel about our zeds and to see it wiped out by this numpty must be heart wrenching. Even more so as it is irreplaceable in as such as obtaining an identical replacement immediately. I often worry about similar happening to my zed. If written off my 05 DE with factory Aero kit and LMGT4S may only be worth £6-7 k payout but TO ME it would never see me in the car that I've owned from new and cared for lovingly. In a way it's lucky your car is so new you'd hopefully get a payout to cover a new replacement to as close a spec as originally purchased. But the waiting is definitely a bummer. Can you imagine how much worse it would be if it was a few years down the road and the insurance company only wanted to pay out 60% or so! Sometimes I wish I was like the majority of car owners who merely see their car as a means of transport on par with a rail season ticket. No emotional attachment. No stress. Anyway....not only do I hope you get back in an equivalent motor to your liking asap but also that the accused gets done for trying to fraudulently claim it was your fault and get done for dangerous driving and karma bites him in the backside in the future and a joyrider drives his car through his "uninsured" house rendering him unable to live in it as it's deemed too dangerous..... unable to afford the repairs.... selling his home for peanuts due to the damage.... being unable to purchase anything even half the size due to rising house prices... trying to get a caravan instead, but getting refused insurance due to the Tesla incident! Sorry, I've just had a bad week and am experiencing some anger issues
  20. Looks like you got mad skills there Chris
