Fair enough! Where do you usually pick it up from? https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Car-Parts/Power-Maxed-Ww5000-Concentrate-Liters/B00U23AU96/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1487880019&sr=8-1&keywords=power+maxed+jet+wash

I'm quite unlucky that my wife has bad hay fever and so we dry her delicate clothes in a room running a dehumidifier. A by product is a constant supply of deionised water though Without this as a final rinse I'd get water spotting unless I drove it down the motorway to clear the water
-
This is what I use for a quickie. 100 ml in a 2 litre pump sprayer. Go to the Jetwash. Spray over the car. Wait 5 mins while I clean my rims using another pump sprayer filled with shampoo. £2 in the Jetwash to rinse off body, rims and undercarriage. Job done : thumbs: I'm a bit extra so I then rinse with deionised water in a couple of 2l coke bottles to prevent water spotting. It'll never be clean enough with a touchless wash to use a drying towel after!

My best memories are from the era when neons etc were all the rage. Looks good to me Part of the appeal of the VW GTI to me are all the interior led accents. Maybe I'm a bit like a moth.....Just love lights Got a drawer full of led torches and rechargable motion activated LED lights dotted around my cellar. Now if I ever stick my those rechargeable motion activated LED spots all over my Zed you can call me Chav AND COME ROUND TO SLAP SOME SENSE INTO ME TOO

Welcome along. So what are the first items on your wish list?

Welcome to the OC. Supra looked stunning

I had already used a clay mitt and C2V3 on the zed 2 weeks ago so today was meant to be just a quick wash and tyre shine. But as it only takes 10 mins to apply C2V3 I couldn't resist slapping another layer on.

The second pair is actually a bargain. First one is £180 and only ONE turtle. So many extra turtles on the second for an extra 15 notes!
-
Wow......One elderly owner from new. That's quite a find! In fact by the time I sell my zed, that's what the new owner is gonna say about my car
-
Look so nice I would keep them in the lounge and just admire the blingness for as long as possible until fitting :b

I've told my wife never to waste money on buyinge a card. £3 on a piece of paper that just goes straight in the recycling bin. Told her I'd be much happier with being handed a kebab with "happy valentine's" or "happy birthday" scribbled on the wrapper......AND THAT'S THE TRUTH! I mean...would any of you not be happier with good nosh over a poxy card. Anyway I was greeted with not one but TWO of my favourite chocolate covered marzipan bars from home bargains. Half the price of a card and a gazillion times more scrumptious. I did however wimpout and give her a card and a Pandora bracelet as I had already negotiated giving going out for dinner a miss and wrangled going training with my mates in the evening instead -
The ending really had me

Same as a reader. There's a sticky on the forum with a list of codes and what they mean. Get the code by reading the flashing EML on the dash and then reset as shown in the video. Obviously if you have genuine unresolved issues the EML will go out but just return again.
-
Just crawling home in rush hour and EML comes on . Alas thankfully pedal dance showed 0000 and a reset saw it vanish as quickly as it came on. For all newbies I highly recommend placing this on your YouTube 350z playlist. Saves alot of anxiety for times when the zed throws a random wobbler......And you don't even need a stop watch, just copy the woman in the video Watch I would place this quite near the top of the most useful nuggets of wisdom I got from the OC!

I remember day I first saw Gran Tourismo and was blown away. I thought this was the epitome of a racing SIM. I would never have believed it could get any better. I still got goosebumps watching that intro as those memories came flooding back

How about trying one of those solar panel chargers that plug into the obd port? Then for emergencies you could try one of those usb power bank style jump starters. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B015R50M6E/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486841626&sr=8-1π=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=aukey+jump+starter&dpPl=1&dpID=41PUi2HX2TL&ref=plSrch I got this for £15 on an offer. Worth a punt and if it doesn't work you can send it back to Amazon or just use it as a power bank

Think positive mate. In fact when your Zed is unleashed onto our streets I reckon you should change your username to....... LAMBOKILLER

Who would have thought a humble bottle of pop would be so good. Doesn't even have to be the good stuff......Any value 2 litre pop will do
-
Congratulations. I reckon you should post up picks of now and 10 yrs ago to show how well she's aged

Afraid not buddy. I don't think kiddies were high on the design brief.

Indeed, sounds a bit like us. The 911 is a remarkably practical car. You can fit a buggy etc in the boot and theres enough room in the back for 2 kids up until they get maybe 5 ft tall. I took both of my kids to football practice the other week in my 911 without any problem. 3 year old in his car seat in the back and the baby in his baby seat also in the back. Certainly raised some eyebrows when all the other parents with their people carriers saw me getting the kids out of my car. Saying that, the wife thinks bigger is better and so she ran out and bought a new Ford Edge just so we have enough room for 2 little kids in the back. Sigh. I can see her point when we go on holiday etc and have to take travel cots, toys, clothes & kitchen sink etc... but I think its a bit of overkill for everyday. After all my mum used a classic 850cc mini as the "family" car for years when she had me & my brother without any problem. It's great carrying toddlers in a sports coupe. Parking in a parenting bay at the supermarket. Get out to disapproving stares from mums in their MPVs and SUVs. Then pull the buggy and the kid out and give a smug in return

I just watched Dr Strange. Fantastic film made even better by the moment of zedness Someone at Marvel must be a zedaholic too

We managed for 3 yrs using a 2006 Mini Cooper as a family car. Eldest kid was 3 yrs old and youngest was 6 months before we got a Kia Sportage due to needing more luggage space for bigger prams. Initially we managed with a Quinny pram for the eldest, then the Quinny plus another Quinny frame in the passenger footwell which would click onto the Maxi Cosi car seat as a second pram.....ALL IN A MINI! So a 2 door like an Integra is definitely doable with just 1 sprog, but obviously a 4 door would be easier.
