  1. Main coating on my rims is Gtechniq C5 Longer lasting than any wheel wax I've used or chemical guys wheel gaurd. Does need alot of prep though. My goto top up used to be Gtechniq C2V3 coz it's fast to apply and buff and not fussed if surface is a bit damp or wet. Now though, I'll top up now and then with Optimum Optiseal. Just wipe on like water and leave it......NO BUFFING. May not be as long lasting as C5 if used as a stand alone but soooo quick it'd only be beat by an aerosol type sealant, but those might go all over the paint and brakes too.
  2. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/114793-what-is-this-car/ How about a kitted Skyline 350GT like the ones Coldel and L14FAN posted? Sleek coupe. Rare sight and look special. You know the cars. Cheap enough as a daily with the odd drift day until your track toy comes. It could just be to tide you over and gives the perfect excuse to go to Zed meets
  3. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B015R50M6E/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489605637&sr=8-1π=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=aukey+jump+starter&dpPl=1&dpID=41PUi2HX2TL&ref=plSrch Get one of these. Hardly take up any space. Can charge your phone. Be a torch Be a hammer Jump start your car
  4. Your car was indeed looking mighty fine sitting next to that TT. That Sainsburys is my local too! Literally 1 min drive from me in Cheadle. Will have to keep an eye out for your zed
  5. You might not even need new paint! It's amazing what a machine polish can do to bring back the gloss.
  6. If it includes coolant and brake fluid I'd say it's a good price. Don't get too hung up on a Nissan service history. I've had much better service from my independent!
  7. http://www.audiforums.com/forum/off-topic-5/hey-guys-please-help-my-mods-gone-wrong-80267/ Got shown this today. This must be the most bonkers bodge mod EVER. Part of me thinks it's a wind up surely. Wouldn't trust this numpty with filling my car with petrol let alone major mods!
  8. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/100167-how-to-change-brake-light-switch/page__hl__%2Bbrake+%2Blight I had the same problems and found this video helped
  9. A couple cars that you don't often see anymore that graced Chester Castle..... A tuned 300zx running 600bhp. Owner has TWO (greedy bugger ) and owned this for 10 yrs. A Dimma 205 Gti I spent too much time chatting.....Will deffo try to take more pics next time:b
  10. Was great seeing fellow zed members here today. Chris gave me my first sit in a 370.... Trying to tempe to upgrade while his son was trying to tempt him into buying a Gtr You should post a link to any YouTube video your son edits up of the event Chris so we can see his skills Jay's zed was looking crisp in Temper orange and the member with the silver coupe (didn't catch your name ) was sounding awesome with his hybrid exhaust from Motordyne, Berks and Cobra Deffo will be going again if it's a monthly thing. I thought I'd be early arriving at 8am but it was half full already!
  11. Wow.....£700 with tyres sounds a bit of a bargain
  12. Work + shiney lips = heavenly
  13. I'm lucky in that I have black leather and don't have any worries with seeing stains in the creases. I deliberately specified black instead of Alezan back in '05 for this very reason and that decision has paid off. Like most detailing regular gentle treatments are better than hardcore once in a blue moon regimens. Although seeing those great 50:50 transformation pics is very impressive!
  14. I've been using DR LEATHER wipes. A pure cleaner that doesn't add any protection or shine, just restores the natural Matt finish. My black leather interior may be 12 yrs old but still looks great with no cracks despite not using any "feeding oils" etc. But then again I'm a little OCD with it and use a foil type sunscreen inside the windscreen at the slightest hint of a sunny day and in the summer i cover the seats with a large towel to prevent uv damage :b
  15. I'm thinking of going to this. Is it fairly easy to park/come and go at any time, or is it a case of get there early and get blocked in waiting for the finish before you can leave? Was thinking of arriving about 8am and leaving 11ish at the latest.
  16. However fast the price may be dropping, as long as you are looking to keep one for a few years i still reckon they represent good value. After all, most of the really big losses have been taken by the original purchasers.....LIKE ME . I reckon if i sold mine I'd lose about £25k! But an 05 DE with factory Nismo kit and LMGT4s losing £25k over 12 years works out about £2k a year.......Worth every penny in my opinion and still giving plenty smiles per mile So as long as you worked out it was an affordable purchase at the time and aren't looking at short term ownership it'll always be good value in my opinion
  17. Following on from AMT's thread on the 2016 Q60 coupe, I saw this and think it's the dog's dangles https://www.netcarshow.com/infiniti/2017-q60_project_black_s_concept/
  18. Welcome to the OC. Yours is the first I've seen with the led DRLs in the grill and it looks really neat
  19. Sounds like a mighty fine Zed is evolving. Looking forward to pics of the car
  20. Looking good in its new suit. Must feel like having a new car with flawless bodywork now. I bet you found it hard to not just sit there for ages gazing at the blue when you picked it up!
  21. Nice acquisition Stu Until you get a new head unit I can highly recommend this..... https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Car-Vehicle-Electronics/TeckNet-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Transmission-integrated/B010NI8JL0/ref=sr_1_sc_1/254-7056647-8595934?ie=UTF8&qid=1488400195&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=Technet.+Bluetooth+fm+transmitter A fellow member recommended it. I can't fault it. Tune mine to 100.7 Fit and forget. Auto on. Auto connect. No need to retune each time. Like I said......fit and forget. Just use your phone as a music player, and all for under £13 delivered! Also looks really discreet when plugged in. Even the display matches your blue paintwork

  24. Welcome to the OC. Always loved the Honda Del Sol Vti. Haven't seen any on the road for a while now which is a shame.
  25. Damn......Just seen this! Will be sad to think of you selling your zed but looking forward to you posting up details of your new acquisitions Needless to say your continued presence on here is MANDATORY Someone will be getting a mighty fine Zed that's very tastefully modded GLWTS
