  1. A warm welcome from a fellow NW member. Loving the concave look of your rear rims.
  2. I must admit that guys modified OEM exhaust sounds really nice
  3. Really liking the Azures. It's plain to see why they're so popular
  4. Got the week off work so treated the zed to another wash. Half coated in C2v3, passenger side in Sonax BSD. Some Optiseal on the rims and Autoglym tyre dressing.
  5. Welcome aboard. If you're ever commuting on the A34 Kingsway look out for me in my sunset orange zed.
  6. Firstly try out whatever polishing/abrasive products you already have using a foam or microfiber pad. You can even use toothpaste Mask around to protect the paint. Polish away. Then you can protect the surface from UV with a dedicated coating like Gtechniq C4 etc, or wax until you get some more resilient coating. If you have a polishing machine it will be much faster.
  7. Coldel, the red looks so lush I'd be tempted to put a sign in the window for a laugh...."CAUTION WET PAINT!"
  8. Can't beat the molten glow of sunset orange in the sun
  9. Weather was glorious this weekend. I don't think I have seen so many clean cars on the road until today. Looks like the Autoglym has worked it's magic on your 370z. My friend lives aqua wax so much he bought FIVE LITRES! I can't see him running out any time soon Still waiting for an offer of a free sample from his 5 litre bottle though :b
  10. Looking very tasty sir. I bet there aren't many "17" registered cars with paint looking as good as yours. With a private plate on, a non petrol head may well mistake it for a NEW car!
  11. Hats off to you sir for resurrecting a battle damaged zed. Look forward to seeing more pics of your work.
  12. Nice to have another NW member. Hope your zed is back to good health soon
  13. Washed 2 days ago but sun was out and so was the flake pop
  14. I think getting a Zed when a baby arrives is a very good idea if funds allow it. Everyone will say "congratulations......Baby will bring sooooo much joy..... You'll be soooo happy" but having an 8 and a 5 yr old it is very fresh in my mind how hard it is and was being a new dad. The sacrifices. The sleep deprivation. Losing the partner you once met as she becomes a mum. But i could always rely on my zed to be my little oasis of calm. I'd get into the zed to go to Tescos at 3am for "emergency baby supplies", turn the key, and For those few minutes in the zed, nothing else mattered...... just me, the zed and the road : thumbs:. I'd go as far as to say it helped me from losing my marbles at times. HOWEVER....I can't explain the joy and warmth you'll get when your little one arrives. Wouldn't change having my kids for the world. In fact i dread the day they grow up and don't give and receive hugs, kisses and cuddles. When you pick them up and they wrap their arms and legs around you... Nestling their cheek into your neck.... HEAVENLY! So congratulations on being a dad AND a zed owner.
  15. Just reminds us how important good condition tyres are.......And no, it's not another MPSS tyre thread https://goo.gl/photos/PYnCJ3c8kwBEtex89
  16. I thought this looked cool and easy when i saw it.
  17. Costco sale time again. 3 April til 23 April. 20% off Castrol oil. Price above includes vat. Price even beats Opie Oils price of £29.99
  18. I see some cars with a 16 plate that don't look as good.....Nice job
  19. Anyone been watching the TFC fight competitions. 5 fighters in each team. 10 blokes going into the ring at the same time! Kinda like controlled fighting for football hooligans after a match
  20. A snap taken by the cars and coffee photographer at Chester Castle.
  21. If it was solely for insurance purposes, I'd say that as long as it has a Nismo bodykit and not a different style, and genuine LMGTs instead of Rotas you could tick the box "factory fitted bodykit" with "factory option 19 inch Nismo wheels"
  22. I ordered exactly what you mentioned above in August 2005! They were factory fit options. I think I paid an extra £2-3k for the factory fit Nismo Aero kit which comprised of Nismo front bumper, skirts, rear spoiler and rear slats. The 19' Nismo LMGT4s were an extra £3.5k and would come INSTEAD OF the standard Touring 18s. These I ordered separately later from a trader who at the time had sold them to me for £1200 without tyres...... Greatest bargain I ever saw meaning I had a spare OEM set too at half the price the dealer wanted. The original invoice for such a Zed will indicate factory fit Nismo Aero kit
  23. Looking good. Especially like the heat shield on your cone filter ......I'm easily pleased
  24. Saw a silver coupe driving towards A34 junction from Cheadle. Was in the family wagon so didn't wave like a loon this time
  25. Your son has a real talent there. Really captured the atmosphere of the day. Watching the video it feels like i was actually there.....OH YEAH....I WAS
