Roscoe Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Popped over to the uncles today to have a look at his 991 that he has owned for about 6 months now but only managed to do about 200 miles in it before Porsche took it back from him due to the engine problems that were being investigated. Anyway it's back with a new engine so today we went for a drive. First thoughts.... Wow the box is amazing. Very quick shifts. Even when Porsche have given strict instructions not to go past the 7k run in limit for 1000 miles it is a seriously quick car. Compared to his previous 997 gt3 this defiantly feels more alive. Obviously at this stage it's still a new engine so will loosen up with miles.
