  1. I need to ship a 20”x25”x20” 32kg parcel from the US to the UK. Looking for the cheapest option rather than the quickest. Thanks

    4 channel amp

Looking for a decent 4 channel amp. No budget brands. preferably in the northwest area so I can collect. Thanks
  3. Well it looks clean after. The car is black so shows dirt after a day or so. The paint is in good condition. It’s volvo onyx black. Again must be much harder than nissan paint. The 350z scratched so easily. The car ive washed with the waterless stuff has no scratches or bad swirls. I did take care when washing the z. 2 bucket etc, but the paint was like cheese.
  4. I hose it down first. It’s the quickest way to wash a company/lease car and the wax leaves a decent shine. Rain beads quite well after. It’s either that or the local Eastern European car was if it’s raining
  5. I use the Williams branded one on my lease car. It’s amazing for what it is. Apply it with a microfibre cloth, then buff with a clean one.
  6. Thanks for all the advice. It’s been sealed so that should help and the detailer said that vw paint is much harder than nissan. Im sure once the new (to me) novelty wears off, the paranoia will subside. I drove over to London for this particular van because it was in really nice condition. It’s never been “worked” and the previous owner loved it. I was hoping snowfoam would be a miracle solution. It’s huge. Washing is going to be a pain in the ass.
  7. My Z made me scared of washing cars the paint was so soft. I just had my truck detailed. Stage 1 correction and sealed for the winter. I’m really pleased with the results. Does snowfoam actually clean cars? Now I have no swirls I don’t want to inflict any.
  8. I have no idea. Id be very tempted though. I love that car.
  9. My very caddy needs a new engine. How much should I be looking at in labour if I supply the engine? I would love to put a 2.0 tfsi in but I think the wiring is a nightmare. Thanks
  10. Would that mileage really not concern you? high mileage always scares me off with expensive cars. That is nice for £30k though.
  11. The m4 couldn’t possibly be “slapped” anymore by depreciation. Early cars wont lose anything over the next couple of years. They are already below £30k.

    F type

This is my main concern too. I wouldn’t consider a new one. Nice car for £30k though. Used. I would use a independent. I hate main dealer networks fullstop. I’d want a v6 s coupe.

I really miss my z, and the fact it’s the best summer since before I was born after 4 wet ones is pissing me off. I know that if I get another convertible normal summers will resume, so I don’t wanna ruin it for everyone else. And the car will be used year round. Im missing my car so much that I know I want something more sporty as my daily. I don’t do a huge amount of miles and I don’t really need back seats. I’ve been looking at 370z nismos and trying to make myself like them more. They’re great cars but I’ve never been a huge fan of the exterior or the interior of the 370z. I always preferred the 350 and I always will, so it would be silly to get one. I’m not a huge fan of JLR after a brief spell with a 2.8 RRS many years ago. But the f type s looks like a lot of car for around £30k. It’s one of the few V6’s that sound better than a z too. Are they as unreliable as most shiny, over priced JLR cars?

    Audi TTS

    A standard TTS would destroy a 350/70z. They’re a golf r in drag.

Great cars. I nearly bought a cat d a few months back. Interior feels like something out of a super car. Virtual cockpit, dials are lovely and the seats are really nice. 4wd isn’t as much fun as rwd but you can drive hard all year round.
  16. I only sold my 350 because it wasn’t worth taxing and insuring for the 1000 miles a year it did on sunny days. I miss it though. They are different to anything else imo. With regard to nismos. Some have been sat around for ages on AT, and they are not a car most people want. Wouldn’t surprise me if they sell a fair bit less than sticker price.
  17. I sold my 2005 roadster a few months back for £5500 to the second person who viewed it. It sold within a couple of weeks of being advertised. It was in good condition but needed a new roof. PX offers were lower, then you have to pay screen price too.
  18. Good time to get out of the A45. The new A class looks special and no doubt the older model will take a hit even if there is no AMG at launch.
  19. I nearly bought one. But by the time I changed the awful standard wheels, changed the silver mirrors for carbon ones, bought the m performance carbon bits and exhaust. It wasn’t cheap anymore. Wheels are a problem as they as they are so narrow. Hard to find something that looks good. Early M2’s will come down massively once the M2 competition replaces the lci model.
  20. Good ones are starting to appreciate. If those wheels aren’t reps they’re worth a few quid too. I think a standard e46 is much more desirable than a modded one. Like you mention. The subframe issue is a big one.

    Mustang bullit

Such a bargain. Seems like they have addressed most of the issues the previous car had. And it looks so good. I normally hate dark green cars.

This is really tempting for the money. https://www.ford.co.uk/future-vehicles/mustang-bullitt
  23. Evans Halshaw are offering the V8 Mustang for £299 pm with £5999 deposit.

    Wow.

M2 comp will mean cheap used M2’s. The current deals on new ones are mental. So cheap.
