Would you hire out your Z?

If your Z is a second car, how would you feel about hiring it out to others, if it were fully above board, properly insured for that, you were able to meet the person who would be using it, and you got a bit of extra cash?

I don't want to hire anyones Z, just asking for opinions

Cheers

I've hired my bike out before but only to a mate I've known for quite a while. He took it over Europe and back. Was all agreed before hand with regards to any damage breakdowns and insurance. You can't help but be worried but if you trust the person then why not.

I'd probably do the same with my zed but like I said only for close friends that I trust.

Would you hire out your girlfriend? Same effing thing, only I'm allowed in it

 Brilliant.

...should add and only you're allowed to rag it. :D

I thought I'd be a little more subtle than that

Couldn't see the point, it's a lose lose situation all round, unless someone says I'll pay you #1000 a week to borrow it.

Increase in mileage,

Wear and Tear on the car

Tyres

Fluids

Brakes

Car park damages (potential)

Can't really see a good reason for doing it. If money was that tight, don't have two cars or sell for a cheaper car.

My son and my wife are on my insurance to drive my Zed...

I will not even tell them that, unless its an emergency.. :scare:

Hire it NEVER... :blush::scare::surrender:

Think I'd still want to be the one driving my Zed even if I was having a heart attack. :D

I felt a bit guilty today..Please don't slate me for it...!

One of my neighbours, who isn't that popular here broke his leg a while back

and is now dragging it out for his insurance claim from his Company by walking about with a stick for months.

(he was playing football in the garden with the kids over the weekend).

He asked me for a lift today to the pub...!!

Unfortunately for him it wasn't the pub I was going to..!! ;)
