smudgedon Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Got my new brakes to put on soon. The fronts are already painted white which I quite like, so I would also do the rears white to match of course, looking something like this But I was playing around on photoshop and came up with this, the same combo I used to have on my old S3 Which do you prefer? smudgedon Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 Damn it, so do I but there are 2 problems with green: 1. Had this colour before on my old S3 setup with purple wheels 2. Keyser will NEVER let me live it down Quote
glrnet Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Bizarrely, when I read this I thought it has to be white but when I scrolled down I was very pleasantly surprised, so of the 2 it's green for me Quote
Ekona Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Neither. Black please, I don't think the current white really works well either if I'm honest mate. I'd say that you're in danger of having too many colours in one place, will look very jarring on the eye. Silver to match the car would also work well. Quote

Big brakes need lairy colour to pull them off and get attention in my opinion Quote
jumping350 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 why not match them purple? if not green id say, plus how white will the white stay for??prob not long Quote
jonny the mod Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 personally, I would go with both. green on the front and white on the back. or paint them in green and white stripes, just like them old sweets called pacers!!! They were yummy!!! Quote
gsexr Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Red would be the expected colour but green looks the boooooolllllloooookkkkkssssss Bit of a kwak man meself Quote
S1 HNK Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I'd go bodycolour myself then just have the brake logo in a bright colour. I agree that another colour will just look too much. Quote

Keyser Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I voted green then read the thread At least I did not get black flagged for having obnoxious purple wheels They just said it was noise to stop you crying On a serious note the green looks better than white - not that there isn't a better colour - but that's up to you 1 Quote
14N Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I kinda like the white. But they do stand out and as we all know, you don't like to be noticed. The quiet one at the back of the room, that's Smudge... Quote
Yampiedog Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Out of the two I chose green but think that body colour would work better with the purple wheels. Quote
