New V5 and MOT has landed!

Someone has viewed her today and is very interested with the Alpine included so the swapping out of the stereo is off for the moment, sorry.

Papers sent off for retention, probably take about a week for the documents to come back.

Going through papers saw that rear brake pads are low. I intend to get these replaced very soon. I am also sending off the retention papers for my number plate (not the one shown, likely to come back to that reg)

Near Southampton

It cost about £1000 when fitted, still £600 to buy new now. I'm very tempted to take it out and put in an OEM but don't think I'd get the time to do it...however if some one is competent and would like to swap it for their OEM and some cash my way...

I am also thinking I should bite their hand off too...

Bad points - due a service and the tyres are close to needing replacement. Pilot Sport 3's on the fronts Pilot Sport's on the rears Tiny bubble forming on very tip of offside of bonnet but no rust visible there. Good points - less than 38,000 miles, clutch and Exedy flywheel replaced about 12 months ago and she hasn't even done 4,000 miles since then. New front brake pads several months ago. It is currently SORN but will come with new tax and has about 11 months MOT. Unmolested example except stereo replaced for colour touch screen Alpine INE-S900R which has bluetooth hands free, Satnav and USB input. I have been offered a very good trade price and so will offer her for that price on here £6300. The only way I would consider less is if the head unit was removed. This was not an easy decision at all and I have pondered it for several weeks but I just don't use her enough and now feel it sensible to move into the realms of day van / surf bus type vehicle.

I would prefer a T5 but that may be stretching things a little at the moment. I know they are underpowered and overpriced but they have great residuals and it will be great for the bike and the kids and the dog. Not quite the same power delivery but I have the Grand Cherokee and that pulls like a train to keep my adrenaline pumping slightly. At some point I will swap the jeep for something sporty again, possibly S4 Audi cabriolet...

I'm getting the itch for a T4 day van, much more practical for my needs now. Very difficult decision as I love my Z but to be honest I just don't use her enough. I hardly use her for work - cycle or motorbike - so she just doesn't get the use she deserves. I have also had a good trade price offered. I would still offer her up here first though. She has not even done 40k and is 04 plate GT. Would come with six months tax but is due a service and the tyres are going to need changing soon too

At about 6.20pm today leaving Lyndhurst. Personal plate beginning C13***

About 10 minutes ago travelling through Lyndhurst and out towards Christchurch direction. I was the motorbike behind you on the one way. I'm pretty sure you had a Zed Shed sticker in the rear window and black aftermarket alloys.

At about 3.30pm there was a Silver 350Z Roadster heading towards Lyndhurst (27 **) And about 20 minutes later a GMG 350Z heading towards Beaulieu LY53*** (in a convoy of Mini's, MX5's and other cars) I was the solo cyclist in flourescent green top...

On 17/04/14 I saw it parked up in the car park... Reg started BG53
