Even better :), one of my patterdales has a bit of Staffy in her somewhere down the line and has very similar markings, her brother has a brown nose, whereas mine has a black nose.

That is such a cool, nonchalant looking dog, love it!

Sad to say we lost our olly a week ago today.

He had a great life but used his nine lives up too early.

Lots of beautiful pets in here! :)

Took him to the vet the other week, she was amazed how big he is for his age, being close to normal adult weight and height at only 6 months next week  Need to buy a horse cart soon!

You allowed to take him for long walks? I know with Dexter I have to keep his walks to like 20 mins maximum until his joints have formed etc. Thought that was the case with all large breed dogs?

Oh no, this is going to take me the rest of the week to read through! Some gorgeous pets though.

Here's Ethel the Oven Ready out and about in the garden this morning. She was trying to eat the food that the wild birds had dropped from the feeders and she squared up to a big pheasant to make sure she got the lot! Oddly, since I posted about her going into the neighbour's garden, she has stayed resolutely on my side of the fence. Maybe she's secretly reading the forum on her iPad?

Unlike Adrian I can't afford a lovely big Dane so this is what I ended up with. She's called Mia, is fully grown, tinier than my smallest rabbit, but definitely a proper dog! She'll walk for miles, is very friendly and has won everyone round, even if they are confirmed small dog haters.

Eeek, Hugo :scare: Actually, Mia would love him. There are 3 up at the yard and they get on fine 'cos Mia thinks she's a Dane too. Not so sure that he and Ethel would get on
