14N Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 After demolishing my Nismo style front lip, I took the opportunity to get something slightly different. Enter King style lip stage left. Test fit. I couldn't decide whether to paint it gloss black or colour match it like my previous lip. But then I thought "why not do both"?! Those that know me will know I like having a bash at things myself. So I picked up some grey plastic primer and gloss black paint from Halfrauds, ordered some colour matched WV2 (Gunmetal grey) paint in a rattle can online, cleared an insufficient but (just about) manageable space in the garage and set to work. And here it is, the finished article. I'm pleased with how it came out considering it's a DIY rattle can job. What d'yall think? 3 Quote
Tinyflier Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I like - I was thinking of this lip too (although deep down I really want the GT lip) - good to see it on a (proper colour!) Zed. Good job with the rattle can. David 1 Quote

If I'm honest, the GT was my first choice, but then this popped up on eBay in an auction and it was only 45 mins away. I'd only seen photos before, but once I collected it and test fitted, I really like it as it was indeed, something different. Quote
martybhoy Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I've never seen that lip before but really like what you've done with the two tone. The black part really sets it off 1 Quote
GMballistic Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Really like that Ian and I love that you've done it in the two colours. 1 Quote

Durk Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 (edited) I really like that, having it in the 2 colours makes it look like a totally different lip and really sets it off! Edited August 1, 2015 by Durk 1 Quote

14N Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 Thanks all, I really appreciate it Was that from snow shovels are us It's less of a snow plough than the previous Nismo one! I've been wondering what type of rims I wanted, and I've decided after seeing these í ½í¸ are these the rota grid ones? Cheers Olly. No, these are TSW Jarama. Not sure you can get them anymore I'm afraid. Plus they originally came with a polished lip. But that's another rattle can story..... Found a couple more pics I realised I hadn't uploaded. Shows the profile of the lip from a few more angles. Quote
