Drilling will also be a major problem for you as standard HSS drill bits will not look at these buckets. You will require Cobalt (HSCO) or Carbide (CARB) Might be a plan to send this small drilling job to your local engineering firm.

I would start with a new battery and also check the engine and battery grounds. If your car is a JDM then best upgrade to the larger UK battery.

I have a direct dial phone number to the Nissan CS managing directors office. The office is headed up by a guy called Michael Flynn and his associate is a lady called Amber. However, I doubt if they would discuss your claim in detail with you as they only become involved once your case has been escalated and you have a case number and they then become your case manager.

I use these kits in the shop on a regular basis and I charge them out at £300.00. Your existing OEM shims should be reusable so do not get them mixed up, however, if you find that the tolerances are out then just measure up and get the correct sized shims from Nissan.
