  1. I think it’s Lotus owners keeping Rover parts in demand these days
  2. A fast car is not always a fun car.
  3. Buy any old one and get a new plate made up for it
  4. That's the thing, in the dry I agree with you: There's not much between the EF1 and MPS4. In the wet and changing conditions though, it's night and day. I've driven budget tyres with more wet grip than the EF1s, I really don't rate them at all for that. For £57, why chance it? It's not even a tank of fuel.
  5. Well aside from dodgy Japspeed manufacturing, then yes they should still fit
  6. Depends. They should be, is your Y-pipe OEM or aftermarket?
  7. I can't read that company name without making race car noises... "Braum braum, neeeeeooooowwwmmm!" *gets coat*
  8. They're not known as Crapspeed for nothing... But yeah, it seems that there's a big issue with hi-flo cats and the quality of them for the Zed. So, so many are failing MOTs that tbh I'd either stay stock or just go decat and swap the stock one back in come MOT time nowadays.
  9. This, in spades. If Tesla and their closed ecosystem go, Tesla cars are going to be extinct overnight.
  10. ^^^ This. I don't care about the looks or the practicality, but it's simply one of the best driving cars you can buy for pocket money. The mk4 Fiesta 1.25L was also a right little hoot.
  11. Tread pattern looks identical to the A2, so I'm guessing it's just a compound upgrade. Personally I'm not keep as I find them amazing in the dry but dreadful in the wet, and I'd rather have something that coped with both versions of the British weather, but some people do love them so if you liked the A2 you'll probably like the A3. BUT When MPS4 are just £57 more for a significantly better tyre in all conditions and one that will last longer, I reckon you'd be mad to buy anything else if you're at that budget. My prices also from Blackcircles, you may even find them cheaper elsewhere but that's the only place I looked 'cos I'm lazy
  12. Had them on mine for a while, but when you get fed up with them because they're filthy and impossible to clean (so about 10 mins ) they're almost impossible to remove without causing damage to the sidewall. Not damage as in undriveable, but it just looks a mess. I'd never fit them again, regardless of how good they can look. White stripes down the bonnet to match next?
  13. Depends if you want a sports car or a diesel Only teasing, I totally get where you’re coming from.
  14. What are you going to be using it for? As in, what functions do you need?
  15. Sounds very plausible to me.
  16. Easy mistake to make! Get some pics up then chop chop TAGL
  17. As with any engine cleaning, you have two schools of thought: 1. Do it. It'll clean all the crap out and you'll have a nice shiny engine. 2. Don't do it. Pulling off all that carbon may actually create issues if some gets stuck or take part of the block with it or it might even have been sealing a crack in there. Leave it alone. Now I've not done the carbon cleaning on any engines, but I have used oil flush chemicals before on previous cars. I had no issues, but unless you've found a company who will warrant that engine for at least a year (and tbh if I was them I wouldn't!) then personally speaking my own comfort of risk says leave it alone. I also don't use oil flushes any more either for the same reason.
  18. Although I’ll forgive the Zee if you’re American, I was picking up some Yank in your accent.
  19. ZED NOT ZEE grrr Nice vid. What’s ‘Reloaded’, is that the name of your channel? Need some better pics to see really.
  20. *grey Where's @ATTAK Z when you need him?!
  21. It's just a car. Sh*t happens, don't sweat the small stuff. And ffs don't make it look sh*t by putting some of the protecters suggested on here on
