  1. I’d say that in terms of sales the new NSX may not be a flop, but in the minds of the public it definitely is. It’s been pretty much forgotten about already, which is a shame. The right tech perhaps, but the wrong design and definitely the wrong price point for ‘regular’ Honda fans to take seriously. But still better looking than the new CTR
  2. Neither of those gearboxes are robotised manuals: They're dual-clutch gearboxes. The SMG and F1 'boxes are robotised manuals.

  4. Ugliest car produced in about 20 years. Hideous in every single way, and even though I buy ugly cars as long as they drive okay, even I wouldn't be seen dead in one of those. In ten years' time, people won't be able to give those things away.

  7. If indeed it is a leak, might just be a random noise that your particular setup is making.
  8. No idea tbh. It’s more common sense than anything else: I’m no aware of any specific Stillen or 350Z issues, but with no ability to soak up lateral movement then where else is the shock supposed to go other than the weakest point? But one step at a time, get the leak fixed first.
  9. Might not crack there, could well go somewhere else. With no flexi joint in the system there's nothing to take up the slack, so could crack anywhere from nice and easy at the backbox joint to PITA at the manifold. That's the reason why every OEM setup (and 95% of aftermarket ones) have flexi joints in them.
  10. Get under there whilst the exhaust is nice and toasty, then get a mate to rev the engine whilst physically looking for leaks is the only other way. With no flexis in the system I reckon you've got a joint or two not sealking properly as there's no give, and tbh with no flexis on there that's going to crack at the weakest joint in a matter of weeks.
  11. Go back to OEM cats and see if the noise is still there. That way you'll know if it's the decats or the backbox.
  12. Hang on, first you say you fitted decats then you mention HFCs then it's back to decats again: What have you actually got on right now?

    Too little too late, I suspect. Why they didn't go with that kind of pricing in the first place is beyond me.

Mate had a convertible SMG one for a bit, it was great fun on track and I distinctly remember being so impressed with the feedback from the chassis within a couple of corners that I turned the TCS off despite saying that I wouldn’t it inspires such confidence, very easy to drive quickly and relaxing too.
  15. So what happens with the indicators and reverse light now? Actually reverse may be on the bottom centre now I look again.
  16. The value of your car at trade in isn’t as important as the cost to change. If they only give you £3k for your car but you get £2k off the sticker price, you’re in the exact situation you wanted to be in in the first place. Just go and ask the question, you never know until you try.
