  1. This thread is making me want a Ducati.
  2. Mate it’s your car, do what you like I meant the reply more as in that like any other car ever, just changing an exhaust never requires a remap.
  3. That’s not high mileage at all, not on an unstressed V8. I’d be more worried about suspension components needing replacing, or clutch & fly etc.
  4. I'd happily buy that, then use it as a daily
  5. I’ve not seen much change at all, tbh. Anything I want is going up still, al the stuff I don’t is getting cheaper but it always has. I’ve not noticed 350s changing price at all, what are VXTs sat at now then?
  6. Please don't ruin this one
  7. Dan does. Dan had been on the beer when posting that
  8. I always get a semi when watching Europeans.
  9. Match the current rears. However, if you really want the best and wet weather/wear isn't relevant, then go for the MPSC2. No finer sports tyre exists. Any of the others are garbage in comparison. You'll have to drop to a 35 profile though, so adjust the rear sizes to match or swap to a 255/35/10 on the front instead. And then do the rears as well, don't just run these on the front with regular tyres on the back!
  10. England will lose tomorrow to Sweden, probably just 1-0 though. We'll fold and wimp out, like always. Sweden play as a proper unit, so I can't see us going any further. That said, a quarter final is much better than we thought we might get, and I'll take that from this relatively young team. Even if we get smashed 5-0, Southgate has done exceptionally well and made some big calls in calling time on Rooney and Hart's international careers. Bringing some fresh faces in has really worked.
  11. Courtois for me. Didn't put a single foot or hand wrong all game, utterly imperious at the back. I suspect we've just seen the winners play tonight.
  12. Well there you go then! I'm not being funny, but why come on and ask for advice when you already have a price in your mind that you'd be prepared to accept for it? At that level I can hazard an easy guess that you'd take £6K flat for it, so you just price accordingly. Start high and hope, then reduce if you need to.
  13. And of course you’d pay for your insurance still, unless you don’t want it covered in case it gets stolen To be fair, it’s not your insurers fault that Autoglass cannot get you a screen for a few weeks. I’m not sure I know of any insurer who would give you a loan car in the same circumstances.
  14. They make the current CTR look like a Dino.

    BHP?

It will always be, as it’s the actual power you’re putting down not an estimated guess, which is what you’ll only ever get from any dyno unless they take your engine out to dyno it directly.
  16. BATTLE BUS UPDATE: The resin held, and I now have a secure wing mirror again!
  17. Exactly, just when you think that Vauxhall couldn't get any worse...
  18. My current weapon of choice, affectionately known as “The Battle Bus” Marvel at the mighty 2003 Vauxhall Omega 2.2dti! Look at the non-functioning sunroof and the oxidisation surrounding it! Witness the power of the rust spots on the bonnet! Behold the scrape on the front corner where Battle Bus met huge lorry! Enjoy the stunning fix of duct tape holding the wing mirror on until the resin I’ve just put on sets! Lap up the external trim hanging off! And finally be proud of that sh*tty Vauxhall interior with a non-functioning stereo, along with a Magic Tree desperately trying to rid the car of the smell of rose wine where I broke a whole bottle in there the other week! (second Magic Tree ready to go) I know, you’re jealous. That’s ok. I understand. Battle Bus and her 145k miles approve of your lust.
  19. S’okay, apparently all Zeds have HIDs after talking with @StevoD earlier, so I’m totally in the dark ( ) as to why all pre-facelift owners moan about their crappy lights now
