  1. Whatever gives access to the connections, I can't remember but I suspect you'd be better off just removing the wheel and working from there. Disconnect the battery first before removing the wheel if you're worried about it going off.
  2. http://thecartech.com/subjects/auto_eng2/Roll_Center.htm ...in case anyone else wanted to know what the heck one was! Can’t say I’ve ever heard of them being a common install on the Zeds, and whilst I can see their practical and theoretical usage, I’m not sure I’d use them at any point before I’d done absolutely everything else to the car.
  3. Even if someone else has had a good or bad experience, it doesn't mean yours will be the same. If ten people turn up and say they had claims denied, would that really stop you claiming yourself?
  4. I had to google what a speed density tune was, I'd never heard that term before! It's tuning via MAP rather than MAF, in case any one else is old school like me and would've said MAP rather than speed density
  5. Speak to either Mishimoto or your supplier directly. Go from there, see what they say, then we can advise more.
  6. Pull the wheel apart and check the connections are tight.

    Advice please

Only relates to emissions equipment (ie the cats) and the MOT, and it simply says that anything fitted by the manufacturer must not be missing, obviously modified or defective. Read it strictly and anything other than OEM cats are a clear fail, but common sense says that aftermarket replacements will be fine.
  8. No you don't I refer back to my previous comment of the cost to change being the key detail here, not the value of the part-ex or the price on the sticker in the window.
  9. BFTTE??? Edit: NVM I found it.
  10. I'm out then, I have zero idea of values of cars in the US at all. But Corvette is the answer.

Would be 09 yeah. Shame, I figured they'd be around £15K by now.

If they're in budget then a 987.2 has zero of the main engine issues (D-chunk, oval bores, IMS failure etc). Plus better ICE as well!
  13. Fast, practical, four door, £35k? FRS, 140i etc.
  14. But look at it. Just look at it! Actually don't. It's hideous. You'll do a little vom in your mouth.

Yes, I've driven a TTS and a 370 (really not sure why you persist in thinking I haven't!). No, I've not driven an A45. And? I can still make a conjectured opinion, given the basis of what it is. I get it, you like it, that's cool. You can offer your opinion Colinny boy, and that's fine. That's the best thing about the internet, we can all share what we think Like I said, I'm sure it's a very quick car, but 4WD and flappy paddles in a glorified hatchback with a turbo four-pot don't set my pulses racing. The 718 is a great car, but I wouldn't buy one based on the noise alone because it was bloody awful when I drove one. Do I get bonus points for using the underline function too?!

Oh I love the drive, it’s just the noise that dreadful! The car itself is otherwise fantastic, only driven a boggo S though but man you really don’t need anything quicker on the road.

I'd quite like to drive the 2.0L Cayman tbh, I reckon it might be a sweeter motor than the 2.5L. Cayman on the moving plate is hysterical fun

If you say a diesel Cayenne I'm sacking you off as a friend forever

Not sure I'd consider the A45 any more exciting than the TTS tbh. Which I know will upset Colin, so YMMV etc Why doesn't she like RWD? If an FWD scrabble wagon terrifies her then I'm not sure you're going to do any better with anything that quick regardless of driven wheels: Our Scoob is 4WD and only 320bhp, but regardless of the 4WD it's still a proper handful if you're not on it. Any modern RWD car will come with TCS anyway, so that'll kick in if you do anything really stupid.
  20. I'd rather go slower and not be in a sh*tbox that f*cking ugly.
  21. Or do the pedal dance again, but read the flashing lights before clearing the code.
  22. Read the code, tell us what it is

It’s an everyday car. It won’t ever excite you, but it’ll do comfort and accessibility like perhaps no other for the money.
  24. It’s a halo car, designed to drive other car sales. They’ll have made a massive loss on each one if you look at it that way, but overall it may break even for the brand. I wonder how much the F1 debacle hurt them?
