  1. Maybe controversial, but: I bought my car with a Cobra non-res (cat back) and hated it. So much drone for me. In sixth gear got terrible drone 65-75mph, terrible for cruising at those speed on motorway journeys. Ive since had a Fujitsubo; much better almost no drone at any speed; and then an Amuse titianium exhaust imported; even better still!
  2. I’m in the UK and my 350z was my second car. Bought it on finance (stupid I know, all paid off long again) I was 19 and my insurance was less than £1000. So I can believe people are buying them as first cars!
  3. I bought my 350z aged 19 with 2 years no claims, got insurance for £950 though elephant via compare the market. On reflection I could have got it even cheaper if I’d tried playing insurance companies off against each other (did that this year and got my premium down nearly £500).

  6. Lots of adapters available ranging from £10-£45. The cheapest adapters will not include a connection to turn on the Amp in your car, so everything will work, but no sound! It is not too difficult to solder yourself an extra connection from the “power antenna on” on the head unit to the “amp on” on the 350z. In case you do decide to wire anything yourself. Ive attached a partially complete connection diagram for the 350z which I found on a forum years ago. This has helped me to wiring in head units on 2 cars so far!
  7. I’m looking for somewhere to underseal my import before it gets destroyed by the English weather. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with paintshops that do undersealing in the Midlands? Preferably near Warwickshire?
  8. There are 2 different Brembo rear disks for a 350z on euro car parts.   9. Not for putting new ones in obviously, but for taking them out, an impact gun is less likely to shear anything, or am I missing something?
  10. All the connections are fine, someone holding the tip of the aerial is enough to get a good signal 😂 So I assumed it was down to length I'll try taking it off and cleaning the thread
  11. My spark plugs haven't been changed since new (05), I'm expecting them to be seized, so was planning on buying an impact wrench to get them out. Are they too fiddly to use an impact gun?
  12. What's the reception like in your stubby? Since swapping out the bose head unit I can no longer get radio with my stubby!
