  1. Mind blowing. The punch from the corners is just insane! And this his is why Porsche are the best manufacturer in the world
  2. Also worth pointing out now that only OEM HIDs will pass an MOT:All after market stuff is a fail. Is your car a Revup? Does it rev to 7000rpm and have the nicer interior, basically.
  3. Common sense, you would hope. But then if you had that, you wouldn’t have been speeding there in the first place
  4. Exactly the right way to do it!
  5. You’re right, I’m getting it mixed up with the £40k extra payment. Just the first year, then.
  6. Interior is sh*t (who signed off on those seats?!). Exterior a billion times better than the bland DB11. Gaping mouth will be fine once you get a plate on there. Bonnet nostrils are chav central, but then that's been the case with all modern AMs that seem to have those even though I've no doubt they're needed on this version. Also, please find a better website to crib from. The quality of journalism on Carbuzz makes PH look like Shakespeare.
  7. After the first few years, anyway.
  8. It’s peanuts. You either want the car or you don’t, do it for you not the next owner.
  9. Unless she’s paying, she doesn’t get a say
  10. Weird, thought I’d replied to this! Go with what Shezza says, that’s exactly what I’d do. 4S are def better than the 4, although I’m on the 4 right now and they’re spectacular for a daily drive: I can only imagine how good the 4S are.

  12. You just need better commuting roads I know what you mean though. I love fast road driving, but I still need a good track day blast every now and then to really let me open the car right up.
  13. Definitely affordable, they're probably the cheapest way of entering motorsports in this country The trouble is, like with all motorsport, is that if you want to be competitive then you need to spend money and that's where the costs ramp up. Tbh a track day here or there will likely be cheaper, but obviously not the thrill of competing.
  14. Autocross is far from drifting, it's more akin to hillclimbing here where the idea is to be neat and tidy rather than wild and slidey. And yes, we have plenty of hillclimbing events here, but if you want to do drifting then that's another thing. Look for the DWYB days at Rockingham, Santa Pod etc.

    Tyre advice

2nd looks better to me, and I reckon you’ll be fine with regards to touching the arches since that’s a very common rear width for Zeds, albeit usually on 19s.

    Tyre advice

Don’t put the same size tyres all round, it’ll become very oversteery. Carry on playing with the calculator, try and keep within 3% difference of stock settings with 20-40mm difference in width front to rear. I’ll have a go later when I’m near the pc for you.
  17. ^^^That's how I see it too.
  18. If it's been incorrectly revoked, then I agree that's a much bigger issue. This is something that needs checking urgently, but this is all getting a bit messy too.
  19. I think this has a lot to do with how you've phrased it to them, no offence intended. If you'd simply put down that you had your licence since the day you passed your test, but you had X conviction on Y date with Z ban length then this wouldn't even be an issue. I'm guessing you've incorrectly stated that your licence has been withdrawn or taken back or however you phrased it by the DVLA, when actually it hasn't at all. They may physically have asked for the card back back, and they may physically give you a new card, but that doesn't mean it's a new licence. Again, if I get nicked for speeding I have to send my photocard off to be endorsed. That doesn't mean I don't have a licence in the mean time and cannot drive, nor does it mean that it's a new licence when it comes back. You really need to speak to them again and be VERY clear in your terminology. No more saying that the DVLA have taken your licence off you, and more saying that you've simply had a ban of Z length for X conviction. It really is as simple as that, I really do think you've massively over-complicated this and confused people that you've spoken to.
  20. The date on the photocard is utterly irrelevant to anything. No-one had revoked your licence (that's the key term, not taken or anything else), you're simply on a short term non-medical driving ban. That's it. Think about it: Photocards only last ten years. When my one was due for renewal, I sent it off and got a new one with a brand new start date on it. That doesn't mean that suddenly my licence was only starting from that date.
  21. Ironically I thought the headlights actually looked really good
  22. What?! That’s insane. You haven’t had your licence revoked, you just had a ban: Your licence should in every way still be valid from when you passed your test!
