  1. Or vice a versa. Yes, Its almost as though they have one speed whatever the speed limits are - times we have seen this on the Wales weekends drives when they totally ignore the 30mph through the villages, but then we quickly catch them up in the 60mph only for them to do their utmost to prevent what would be safe overtakes and when you do get past they flash away as though "how dare you pass me"........grrrrrr
  2. That looks fun, just for starters. Must be a great feeling to know you have something to test your skills on track, having enjoyed some passenger laps with you in kermit which I could see was not such a challenge
  3. Very sad his life was cut short
  4. Have a good one.....if you remember it

  9. Raise it with Nissan Customer services as you say it is outside their quoted chassis number range - hopefully they will take sympathy and deal with it as a goodwill gesture.
  10. ? It has - post No.4 above ^^^^
  11. I have to say that over the last year updating our new home and managing our rented flat, Gas Safe plumbers have been the most difficult trade to get interested and get hold of even when you have made contact and they are ones that have come recommended from neighbours etc. I would never ever use a trade that feels the need to advertise or is on a supposed approved traders list. There does seem something lacking with the Gas Safe system in terms of getting someone you can trust and is relaible, and this thread only serves to confirm that view. In fact it as made me feel that being Gas Safe registered is like those who buy letters to put after their name - not worth the paper it is written on.
  12. Haven't heard of any issues from those who have had their lock replaced and personally I think the downside of not having the fuse in place and the lock working is not worth it.
  13. Oh, I think his mum liked it really Love the plates - really has tided up the look So pleased someone on here who is also passionate about ZEDs now has the car and look forward to seeing the upgrades
  14. You do if you want updates - costs me £4.95 per month for the same Snooper.
  15. He heard you coming and went to ground
  16. +1........often is the issue
  17. Sure some of you are not that old to remember Minardi, as an example? From Wiki: Minardi was an Italian automobile racing team and constructor founded in Faenza in 1979 by Giancarlo Minardi. It competed in the Formula One World Championship from 1985 until 2005 with little success, nevertheless acquiring a loyal following of fans. In 2001, to save the team from folding, Minardi sold it to Australian businessman Paul Stoddart, who ran the team for five years before selling it on to Red Bull in 2005 who renamed it Scuderia Toro Rosso. So I would not be quite so dismissive of their future - I'm sure there is an oil well owner out there who has excess liquid gold slushing around to see what they can do....
  18. Clark Motorsport (trader on here) have excellent feedback - hopefully they are not too far from you.
  19. Glad to hear its all ended amicably but if it were me I would change the locks to be on the safe side.
  20. Moved sub forums - not sure why you put it under 350 insurance - when I saw that my heart sank for you

    Help

Why the scared faces? Surely the fact the key recognizes its brother has been left in the car is a bonus rather than panicking that it has been lost elsewhere?
  22. I'm in no rush atm. But getting something that gives me the driving pleasure that GUNs did is a hard act to follow but the options are narrowing........
  23. You would need planning permission for either a single or two (or more) storey extension on the side of a house fronting a road. Can't stress enough the need to check with the planning authority as to whether they would agree - some are fairly laid back but with others it is a no-no on principle. Yes, there is an appeal route if you get rejected but win rate is only around 35%. Trawling through the register of applications and/or spotting recently built extensions similar to what you are looking at will help to reveal if you are likely have an uphill struggle, or not. So if the extension is vital to your needs you must check that out as far as you reasonably can as a vendor is unlikely to wait while you get plans drawn up and than application decided - allow 12 weeks minimum knowing Local Planning authorites often exceed their published targets for deciding applications. You could involve a local Chartered planning consultant (my profession before retirement) who is likely to know if you have some hope or otherwise (or indeed other alternatives ) as I would advise extreme caution about any advice you are given by the duty planning officer you may see at the Council offices. All too often their outcome predictions do not materialize and even though charges are normally levelled for pre-submission advice it is on a 'without prejudice' basis. If you need any more informal advice feel free to pm me Chris.
