  1. Sorry to hear the news Louise Then you may as well use Admiral's recommendation in the first place, Ive no doubt that Nissan will use the cheapest local firm they can get away with TBH. When I chose to have the sills painted on the 370 the Nissan HPC centre I was using had a Nissan 'approved' bodyshop that did a good job and gave me a certificate that the work would not affect Nissan warranty. Maybe worth asking your local HPC how they have bodywork repair done?
  2. Somehow I found that comment on February 14th really needed tidying as your passion was not around to share the day
  3. If we started issuing warning points for bad grammar/spelling that would be the end of the forum in less than than a week. But more seriously, it is sometimes impossible to work out just what in being said in posts and it seems that is either restrictions (genuine or otherwise) by using mobile phones or draft posts are not checked, or even scanned, before posting. With the latter, so often that leads to misunderstandings and tensions rising that sadly leads to threads being locked.
  4. apologies - only just spotted this post - deed done
  5. Approved on the basis the Airbox & pipe is FREE the collection only reference does not assume no money is wanted. If not the advert will be taken down until a photo is added.
  6. Moved from 370 General - As you are less likely to get a positive answer there.
  7. Take pity and buy his parts so he can afford some paper
  8. Seems too advanced to remain just a concept but then Nissan withdrew the 370 roadster from sale not so long ago.........
  9. Nice wheels Have to admit the paddle shift is taking a bit of time to get used to - in my defence not had sufficient time to get a real feel for it now the running-in is done. But I have the say, the cornering is phenominal with with less roll than the 370 and the grip on another level. With all the bits (and more) that the '63 has, it is grin-making drive and although the exhaust farts, bangs and pops like a goodun, the V8 soundtrack would be the icing.........
  10. Hope RB have better luck with their new F1 car and it does not shed its new bits......... ('cause it won't, they will have been tested to destruction on a mule road car )
  11. I know the problem - you made everything so shiney no amount of tightening would hold 'em on to the backbox pipes More seriously, rotten luck for that to happen and good news there are replacements on the way.
  12. At least I've still got a Zed old'un Who............me
  13. That's why I put the question in my first post Colin. I thought the Azure stopped with the DE, but this one had the LED tail lights, face lift headlights and I'm sure I saw a bonnet bulge. But like you said they may have spent some serious cash doing it up. But then why isn't he on this forum?! The DE engine continued into the 2006 'uprev' version which had the LED tail lights and face lift headlights and came in Azure blue. It was the introduction of the HR engine in 2007 that led to Azure paint being option stopped. Hence all the owners of 2006 model year 350's had to do if they wanted the HR look was to change the bonnet and so the upgrade was relatively cheap for them, especially when group buys helped the purchase price. Obviously the pre 2006 owners had more outlay (if they hadn't already made the light changes). And quite a few 2006 models were still being sold 'new' in 2009 so the registration is not a relaible indicator of when the car was actually manufactured.
  14. But Nissan didn't release the 370Z in Shrek Green?!? Keep up Haydn - Shrek Green is yesterdays colour
  15. Not sure why this thread was in General and not in the member build sub-forum - so it is now!
  16. Not necessarily. They have been known to, when there is clear independent evidence/police info that it was damage as a result of criminal activity, to waive th normal loss of NCB - I believe they draw on a fund set aside for such damage via the MIB http://www.mib.org.u.../en/Default.htm
  17. Thought my DIY rubbing down at home was a pain in the a$re, but that is whole new ball game - credit to you Darren for your patience but then I guess Pumpkin is your special Valentine so she deserves lots of loving attention now
  18. Er, you sure that it was a HR as they were not produced in Azure? Lots of DE engined ZEDs masquarding as HR's, even one of our very own moderators in his Azure who I'll leave others to name and shame Mind you a 'lad' he isn't. (if not as old as some on here.)
  19. I'm suspicious they are retread tyres Scroll down the offerings on here and you will see 'yours' in the available sizes for roughly half the price (at best) of the genuine item and my guess is that for copyright reasons they have to remove part of the sidewall description so as not to suggest they main brand manufacture. http://www.tyresavin...es-and-savings. Glad to hear you are replacing them

    Spacers

There is a well known issue with 20mm spacers on the front, if keeping the OEM studs that because of their length do not not allow the OEM front wheels to seal squarly on the spacer. To be brutally frank I found little difference in the 'feel' with or without spacers and the 370 handled fine around Knockhill with 25mm all round. But would agree they do more for the stance rather than the handling.
  21. Fabulous pics guys - enjoyed those and what a great range of cars to drool over.
  22. Looks like there's disagreement in that picture about them too
