  1. Just the discs rusting over with no use. Your description about the the problem going away confirms. Just drive it for a few miles and all will be fine Whenever I wash my cars I take them for a short run to dry off the discs and if leaving the car for some while do not apply the handbrake - just leave it in gear (or park if auto)
  2. Continue to be amazed that you find the time and energy to share your work on here given all the work you are showing us. Truly a member build thread like no other and not surprising the following you have attracted Darren as we look forward to each update

  4. Patient!? not a word I thought yoiu knew
  5. I feel a mere youngster again 101 and still changing the oil and plugs - respect
  6. Amazed the boot has not been bought and fitted by now. Really for something quite special and given the increasing number of track/drift/race members we are seeing looking for ways to lighten their cars, for which this has to be one of the best options, a day out to get it should not be a distraction.
  7. Nice if you like them big but I prefer my cars not to rival buses in size
  8. .....and Will mentioning your Wales outing - was the former owner from Wales, just remembering we had a white 370 roadster join us on one of the drives a few years back?

  10. So what did you think of the race start Graham? Lets just say Steve that this forum keeps me a whole lot more occupied!
  11. Not on UK supplied cars (including the 370) sadly.
  12. Sorry to hear the news - really this is a hit and run and as he sounds an arrogant sod chances are he would would put the blame your way. Sadly, either down to you or your insurance company - really don't like putting that forward, but as I think you have already suggested might be best to get it fixed rather than pursuing what is likley to be a lost cause and you are then still no further forward Deleted your double post btw
  13. It's driving around with a paper bag over my head to save the embarrassment of being seen in one, let alone driving it, that I can't be doing with Nah, we are petrolheads for that very reason and I have fully respected your previous choice of cars but leaf it out please Now when you have the Tesla that is a different matter
  14. Bit of a grey day then at Harwich More seriously, interesting shots showing how the ZED has evolved over the last 10 years or so.

    Sunny day out

    Nice pics
  16. Lucky you to be able to afford the Tesla and yes, that I would be happy to drive........ but a Leaf absolutely no way and like most of the mainstream electic cars currently on offer for the masses, they are just pig ugly. That said, some 15 years ago I got involved in promoting the all electric Peugeot 206 cars and Citroen Belingo vans that were being leased to Council's. Now the 206, in its time, was a good looking car and good fun to drive around town, but unfortunately the technology was in its infancy and when they went wrong and went back to Peugeot you didn't see them again, or hear what the issue was.
  17. Already done for you, just waiting for the paint on his new yellow ones to dry http://www.350z-uk.c...0/page__st__460
  18. Needs lowering and a stubby
  19. From what we see is ZEDs changing hands more frequently as owners find the running costs probably more than they bargained for and given increasing age that means more and more wear and tear replacement items, which are often not that cheap. Something that too many have under-estimated.
  20. Never has: been more appropriate
  21. The blue Brembos looked spot on but the yellow ones will be real eye catchers No doubt the new fans are Phase 1 of an FI install (pss't don't tell Joy)
  22. So it was a Mog Shed before it became the Zed Shed then - little has changed really
  23. There must be literally hundreds of threads on the subject - suggest you do a search and look in the FAQ's and Guides
  24. More often than not they (W brace) can be de-rusted and suitably protected before re-fitting - someone did an excellent guide on the procedure - will see if I can find it. Otherwise, as ZMANALEX has told you on another thread of yours, be prepared for your wallet to be lightened significantly.
