  1. I got mine from eBay off a seller called: hawktools2012 Unfortunately doesn't look like he has anymore for sale but maybe worth contacting him?
  2. Finally got round to installing a set of lights replacing the front reflectors. Really happy with them!
  3. Problem sorted! I had recently had my radio upgraded to a pioneer and read if the battery is disconnected this can result in issues. I carried out the window reset procedure and good as new again! Thanks for your help
  4. Hi all So finally got round to looking at my water leak and you were right! The problem was from the rear vent, the seal was completely broken. The other side was completely dry under the vent but the water was very visible on this one Tried ringing nissan but they are closed! Also because the vent was Renault I rang them but from the part number they said it was a boot plug... Which I wasn't confident in telling them to order. I also messaged the recommended member - Zmanalex So hopefully I will be able to source a replacement soon. Feel so relieved to have found the problem, couldn't have done it without the help of all you! Thanks again
  5. Thanks mate, never thought of doing it that way. Think I'm going to try the window reset I've seen a few times on different forums and hopefully that will sort it, found the process on service manual.
  6. Sorry mate, bit new to this lol. Seen a few with the window not working at all but struggling to find any with issue I've got. Guess I'm not very good with my keywords, will keep searching
  7. So a couple of days ago when my partner closed the passenger door the window went down about a quarter and stopped. I thought nothing of it at first thinking maybe I pressed the button by accident on my door. After opening and closing the door a few times it never did it. However It is now becoming an intermittent problem. My biggest issue however is that I've noticed as the door is closed the window does not then close that extra bit like mine does to seal it. I have posted recently about a water leak in my boot which I can't help think all things are adding up together. I only noticed today as well due to not having my radio on (unsure whether this was happening before) that there was a blowing sound in the car as though a window was open slightly. Couldn't make out where the noise is coming from it sounded like from the back of the car but again cant help but think this is because my window is not shutting fully. It might also be worth mentioning I had my whole windscreen replaced about 3-4 weeks ago due to three large chips on it but would be suprised if that is the cause of all my problems Any advise would be much appreciated!
  8. Just picked my car up from my local alloy refurb company. Got full refurb and charcoal/anthracite powder coat. Can't believe what a difference it has made! In love with this car lol
  9. Had great responses on this thank you all! I have purchased a trim remover tool set to assist and I'm really eager now to get stuck in to working on it on Saturday. With the help from all your experiences and advise I feel confident in tackling it now. Unfortunately the dealer was quite a distance away so hoping it will be a cheap fix i would rather resolve it at home, travelling the distance was price I had to pay to purchase the perfect 350Z for me lol I will be sure to update on how I get on Saturday. Once again really appreciate all the responses guys P.s. I'm from the Midlands
  10. I have always wanted a sports car but have always been family cars... Finally decided to take the plunge now the other half passed her driving test, she now has the family car. Loved the 350Z but went back and forth between different cars trying to decided what I truly wanted. Always came back to my first love... The Nissan 350Z WHAT A CAR! Already upgraded to a pioneer SPH-DA120 and booked in to have my alloys darker. Proud to be the owner of a 09 Nissan 350Z 313 V6 and Glad to be a member!
  11. Thank you for the replies! I'm going to tackle it this weekend but if I'm honest I dont even know how to remove the panels. Is it worth me purchasing a Haynes manual? Like the idea of the dehumidifier bag once the problem has been found. I only purchased the car last month and absolutely love it so this is heartbreaking to find water where it's not wanted lol!
  12. Hi, I'm new to this forum so please bare with me! I was hoping for some advise on where I need to be looking or how to remove appropriate panels. A couple of days ago I noticed a puddle of water where the spare tyre well is in the boot. The water is not on the carpet of the boot only the under area. I soaked all the water up to monitor it and today after heavy rain last night I have found more water within the area. I have took a photo of the area. Any advise will be much appreciated!
