  1. Pm Keyser or Buster on here I think they will know the answer
  2. Nicked off the ca Nicked off the Black Rose car OP has asked about
  3. Most likely the answer in what you have said - the batteries age and the fact they have been put to use on numerous occasions - like me, old and worn out
  4. You sure you are not phishing
  5. Welcome to the team Ian although I'm a bit concerned that once you have that car of yours up and running with its Corvette power you won't want to get out of it to come into the back office to do some work just kidding
  6. Welcome along Andy - and don't worry, the ban button is a one size fits all
  7. but that did make me chuckle
  8. As he sees a car is just for getting him from A to B and for much of its time its sitting idle just use the car allowance on taxi's? My son now uses a taxi app where you put in your journey and companies bid for your business (can't remember what it is called) but he used it last week to get from Central London to North Surrey for £30 - quite how the driver/company made any profit beats me and he has never been let down, but if that way gets 2bears to the airport and back home......and he can do his homework on the way And then just upgrade the the two 4WD oldies for that Freelander you mention and you can both use it for trundling around the lanes etc.
  9. Have a look at what parello9 has done - post No.5 http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/92876-parellos-pearl-white-370z/
  10. You need to look in the 350 sub-forum then

    Spock

Locked as there is already one on the same subject (http://www.350z-uk.c...432-beam-me-up/)
  13. But be wary if it has one as many DE engined cars have had the HR bonnets fitted It can't be done the other way though.
  14. Mixture of black and shadow chrome here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77963-wheels-finally-refurbished/
  15. You are right to ask the question and his answer is suggesting it is a DE rev-up model (296bhp). Quite a few rev-ups were not registered well into 2008/9 and either ignorance (seller and/or buyer) or blatant deception has led to some onwers being caught out. I'll see if I can dig out some pics from another similar question to help you. Edit engine pics in post #13 here: http://www.350z-uk.c...ne#entry1342169 and yes vvvvvv the HR engines have twin intakes
  16. Moved from 370 General
  17. For concussion read blackout as by all accounts the 'wind' issue seems a red-herring to me given Alonso's experiene?
  18. Forum to the rescue again...........well at least if only hosting your thoughts

    Flare???

As a more serious guess do you mean these? Also now on the 370 Nismos.
  20. No insurance required to get car taxed but you still need to have insurance - one of the benefits not having to arrange cover notes etc before you can buy tax. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/dvla-cuts-unnecessary-red-tape-for-motorists
  21. The components being covered is something I also had on our Mazda's MOT that was done yesterday - expect it is some (obvious) safeguard for the tester should something occur post the MOT, which is out of sight and could not be checked without dismantling.
  22. Good news, and what makes this forum such a good one to be part of.
  23. Whacky - SPAMMING THIS THREAD WILL LEAD TO A WARNING
  24. This ^^^! I've a few years on you and can honestly say do these things while you can as life soon runs out. Had I not had the need for 4 seats I would have f/i the 370 as the HR engine is pretty bullet proof and many running reliably in the States with up to 600bhp on standard internals. Bottom end is more or less GTR hence the build is well up to a mean s/c or turbo(s) addition.
