  1. Glad the forum has been of help and thanks for your 'feedback' intro and updates - look forward to hearing more from you
  2. Just give your keys to ChrisS and passenger him as the local EVO triangle guide, and he will show how it is to be enjoyed and watching his lines rather than the ditches
  3. You know the one answer there then to deal with both As regards the seating issue I'm 6' 2" I never found it uncomfortable - in fact the opposite but it can take a bit of fine adjustment with the squab/backreast/lumbar to get it spot on. My only gripes with the driving position was the lack of wheel adjustment fore and aft as I would have liked less arm stretch, and the rear view as being relatively tall vision was restricted by the black surround at the top of the rear window cutting off roofs of following cars - not ideal when you want to know just what is on your tail......
  4. Excellent vid Steve - appreaciate the work on the day and putting it together afterwards
  5. I was enjoying reading the views on this thread (having a vested interest of course ) until I got to your post Dan and now you have well and truly gone too far Now haven't had to use the ban button for a while ...... now where is it - damn - so old I've forgotten . But as some will know, age hasn't slowed my driving and enthusiasm for drivers cars and my years are a lot more than yours Annie, so you go for it gal
  6. Some more pics from the show.....A BM that really does look so good, in my eyesOne of my favourites - and even had some rotors to help it spin This Porsche was stunning:If only that bloody lottery would come up guess I better buy some tickets first The colour was just awesome in the sun on this Mac: Just a shame their F1 cars are such a huge let down atm........ This one stood out in the M3 section for me:I saw glrnet drooling over this and have to say the work and attention to detail was supurbTried to get a shot to show the rear wheels were only separated by the diff - they were that wide But there were just many fabulous cars there - so if you missed the show this year I seriously recommend you try to get to next years
  7. Pics you want - pics you get Most have arrived and the cleaning (and chatting) begins! And later in the day....with all 6 of the forums' new flags Meanwhile an ex owner is relegated to the Pistonheads display ........near the castle and the Porsches And towards the other end of the Pistonheads display - well OK....I drooled Then wandered off to see the hypercar displays but too early so just a teaser So, wandering back to the main arena some of the sights for you guys to see: Ferrari: Porsche: GTR: Lotus: TVR: Take your pick for supercar rides (for charity) NSX: GT40: And then got in to see the hypercar display on the castle forecourt: Really was a fabulous day so many cars and so many zillions (£'s) in one place and quite few taking home sunburns as a reminder of a great day out A few more pics to come of individual cars that caught my eye........
  8. I'll be joining the M25 from the M23 around that time
  9. ....and push button start, or is that Buster's handiwork? Definitely Mrs Buster's/SMD old car and I thought Tradelink bought it from Mrs B?
  10. Tenner says some numpty turns up in something that isn't a Zed.... Yeah, but all the cameras and long lenses dangling round his & her necks will be a clue
  11. That last race knocked the spots off anything F1 can offer! The Ginetta Juniors are more exciting to watch than the bl**dy F1 imo. Especially when a 14 year old girl on her first visit to Thruxton for last Sunday's racing - a circuit which ain't exactly slow or forgiving track goes and beats all the lads.....in both races and she carries a novice cross on the car, to boot. https://www.google.c...unior race 2015 (Sorry for the late post, just catching up on the recorded racing that weekend )
  12. If this years Wales weekend is anything like the previous years the answers are the same for all 3 of your questions - ANYWHERE THAT'S NEAR THE BAR
  13. I remember Willie Green (being of similar vintage....blush). His racing career here: http://www.motorsportmagazine.com/archive/article/march-2006/96/remaking-history So well done Andy for getting his pat on the back!

    Bird Poo

+1 (even if means having a bottle of water/microfibe in the car when it happens away from home) Got that too with a neighbour in her nineties who is housebound and the family have put up a stand, right on the boundary with us and next to where we park our cars, for her to see the birds - what do you do....... Just means more car washing
  15. This thread might help - see the bedding-in procedure and also the guy (Tophooker) who will sort it out if the problem persists http://www.350z-uk.c...ing#entry838299
  16. +1 - That's what I have done from just along the coast from you
  17. Most of my proposed car purchases have been on this basis, when the dreaded question from across the room comes about changing cars But, hey you only live once so if your man maths says yes......no more to be said
  18. Anyone who has not had an email - pm Ross, but Amy ^^^ has provided the critical bits Oh, and please come and say hello on the Pistonheads stand as I was not allowed in the ZED display, and I expect my poor little A45 will be as equally er, distracting, over there
  19. Suggest you try the usual traders on here, if you haven't done that already - a pm always helps to get their attention
  20. I'll, lock it instead could be useful info for someone else at some point.
  21. I presume this the 370 you are talking about and given its under warranty take it to the dealer to sort - sounds like a software glitch to me
  22. £50 please M13KYF runs the trader side of things on here but I'll pm you the T & C's to help your understanding. Bear with Mike a little as he has a lot on his plate atm, if you don't hear back from him straight away

    My new girl

Echoing this sentiment Maybe we should start a "show us your WAGs" (Wives and Girlfriends) thread I could see that being either very entertaining or very disappointing. ...oh and probably ending up being put in the green room too. Wise words GM and if anyone does put them on this thread they will be removed - remember the OP is showing us his new mistress not his off-topic interest
