  1. I'll put you down on the list, but it might be a long wait
  2. That is awful - not surprised at all about your reaction Vik although I rather suspect you are not the only one up and down the country had this happen. No comfort, but knowing Council's they will either not respond or hand it over to their insurance company and not worry - after all, it's you and me who end up paying in some way or another
  3. Hang on - look closely at the tree line - isn't that Alex blasting round - he's not going to let a little bit of snow stop him
  4. Thought you said the crutches were working wonders
  5. Yep pm M13KYF options here: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=12347&hilit=350+stickers
  6. I agree, the damn syncro-rev is killing my mpg
  7. Says he who flys the jolly rodger
  8. Thread locked as item sold
  9. Take Vik's advice about sourcing the plugs and you might also like to think about other things, oil, filters etc from traders - but might be best checking with your garage if they are OK using parts supplied from elsewhere. If you are allowed off the Wigit then you may well find a visit to a specialist on the mainland worth your while
  10. +1 given the look of the rest of the your car Buster - should look very . BTW (and IMHO), keep the badge (Nissan or Z) and the indents that continue the flow from the bonnet
  11. Forum welcome viewtopic.php?f=160&t=43346
  12. Glad you are OK Malcolm
  13. Unless you are on crutches, eh Darren
  14. Its not a cam belt they are talking about, if that is what you were thinking - ZEDs have a chain
  15. Search button - now er, what's that for again
  16. Unfortunately it is very believable - any excuse for an insurance company not to pay out, even when someone is trying to do the right thing.
  17. If the eject/load options are not doing anything, then I would go back to the dealer. Jusy hope they don't suggest you inserted a dodgy CD that got stuck

    Rear Tyres

The chances are that you have Bridgestone 040's on the car. It is not adviseable to use the much superior Bridgestone 050A's just on the rear as it will show up a lack of grip at the front. The 040's are rather poor in the wet and no doubt why Nissan stopped supplying them on the later 350's and 370's. There are varying opinions about what tyres are best, but what we do know from experience of the ZED is that it is safer to use 4 tyres of the same make and type and even tread wear. Unfortunately the more expensive they are the better they are likley to be, but that is not to say some of the mid-range tyres are perfectly suitable. In the dry you can get away with various combinations but in the wet the ZED can be a real handful and that is where tyre choice becomes critical. A set of 452 Falkens all round can be had for under £500 - if budget is limited - I have used them and found them more than adequate. Otherwise go for a full set of 050A's if you can.
  22. Signed up to PH and entered
  23. Chris - don't you remember the time out we set for Zugara every time he logged on to save our headaches
