  1. I'm glad that dent in the side of my car came out OK Nothing like black for the perfect mirror finish
  2. I just don't know what to say - no words will really help the hurt you must be going through but hats off to your courage and determination to make sure your Dad's suffering is mitigated as best as you can do and with your strength and that of your family it will help you all through such a terrible time.
  3. Exactly the same happened to me a while back when I bought one of those - utter crap. Suggest you contact Tim at Envy - he can supply a pack of 4 brushes for little money - now they are good https://www.envyvaleting.com/products_info.asp?id=235
  4. The honest john website is pretty good with the specs etc for both the coupe and roadster - start here: http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/ni ... ction=good As for choice - down to budget and as far as I am aware the 'premium connect' introduced for the 2010 models is the only significant change, although the 'black editions' with their specs are certainly worth a look if your budget allows. And for the record, I am very happy with the 2009 model - not having an inbuilt sat nav before I have found it very useful and works well together with the bluetooth phone connectivity - just a shame it does not feature the post-code identification to pin point you to your destination that is otherwise unknown. I use the sat nav on my phone which does have the postcode feature in those cases if necessary, when I arrive
  5. Um, isn't that a reflection? : Its in the written description
  6. Their descriptions are all over the place - I reckon they use standard templates and change parts with a finger in the air and add the first photos they see. And which car does the blue and white seats belong to Edit: just seen they have changed the seat pic Edit 2 - now they have changed some of the pics to remove the roadster pics - but left one in place - reckon I am giving them free advice now Typical example of demonstrating they really do not know their cars - they keep describing Ebisu as Eberu/Eburu I see the silver 350 they have is an ex 350Z-uk owner The 2007 313 with nismo kit is priced keenly though, even with C45k miles
  7. Hugh you should know this lot - any chance to show off their pussys - but have to say as a non-cat person AndyZed and SpursmanicDave's cats are
  8. Thread locked as this one seems to be playing catch up viewtopic.php?f=18&t=43379
  9. No just finding time to address some long overdue promises about life with a 370
  10. And what is the better 'alf getting, or has got And trust your ZED had trade plates on its journey to the VW dealer
  11. You are aware 19" wheels were not standard fitment? LMGT4's (not black) were available as a £2.5k option IIRC, but not sure if they were the 18" or 19" options Some early imports were on 17" wheels. Yes, there are quite a few gunmetal/alezan 350's around, but the alezan was a £400 option (UK models) and there are many with the charcoal black leather about and few non-leather ones as well. I presume it is a coupe you are after, and just to note that if it is a roadster you wanted it does not have bluetooth capability (in case the phone integration you are thinking of does not have its own )
  12. Another small but welcome improvement - no fumbling for the switch to open the fuel filler cover (and potentially pushing it through the dash), but now it is a straightfoward press on the top part of the cover (when car is unlocked) to access the fuel filler

    nissan juke

Good spot Charlotte - Husky's little 'joke' no doubt Thread moved. Having seen it in the flesh I think the Juke looks a poor relation to the Rav4 and that was ugly, IMHO
  14. Dave, are arguing with a woman - you never win - just give up
  15. Hi again - how about coming along to Goodwood next Sunday viewtopic.php?f=93&t=42422 Hopefully a little drier than Santa Pod and a lot closer Might be a bit though, especially with the hood down
  16. Here you go viewtopic.php?f=35&t=30870 (see the attachment in the first post - really excellent guide by SteveW)
  17. Following on from the thread about the rear hatch not fully opening and a carry over from the 350: viewtopic.php?f=102&t=43408&p=640212#p640212 what I have noticed is that when closing the bonnet it has never 'baulked' on the latch so you had to follow up with a push or re-drop, as I found with the 350's. So at least Nissan seem to have cured that little irritation - have other 370 owners found this improvement?
  18. Just hope it stays away for next (Goodwood) weekend, otherwise it will make for an interesting drive.....not
  19. As Chris found out with mine when I first got it, that was a bit disconcerting when I never experienced it with the 2 previous 350's. But have to say, after 7k miles I guess the front tyres have worn sufficently for it not to be noticeable now. If you read the US forums you will see it was a similar concern over the pond. What is more 'irritating' is the tramlining sensation that I get at low speed, whether using the standard wheels/(non directional) 050A's Stones or the 19" Nismo's with the (directional) 452 Falkens. And still there after after a 4-wheel laser check. But might ask Abbey to see if they can offer a geometry change to remove it, although I have to say the corner turn in/grip is excellent - as good if not better than the 350's so I would certainly not want to compromise that.
