1. If you get stuck in the snow, best not follow this example to get out
2. Like the 350's the hatch on the 370's will not always open without a helping hand - here is the US TSB - and like other documents Nissan use 350 images
3. Roadsters don't have the hands free phone connection example: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=16901&hilit=roadster+bluetooth
4. Abandoned last night in snow at the side of a "rurual road in Northumberland" and being dug out today. Numberplate askew and loked like a bit of work to get it out Anyone here?
5. A pm is advised - you then know your 'bid' will seen by the seller and not have to wait until one of us is around to verify your post. And yes it is time-consuming for us reading through every post, but quite recently I have had occasion to disapprove posts where bidders with post counts below the rules minimium try to offer items/cars in exchange. And occasionally there are posts (spam) that frankly have nothing to do with item being sold. So, if you really want something Ace, the advice is to send a pm.
6. If you can back the car up towards a wall or something solid, by first finding suitable lengths of wood and a few wedges with cloths that should provide sufficient pressure to help hold the diffuser in place once the car has been fully warmed up and the diffuser then offered up. The longer you can leave it the better but as I have suggested, silicone might help and dare I say can be removed in the future and is unlikley to affect the paintwork, which I don't think you would be so lucky with using araldite
7. Get the wife's hairdryer out (or yours ) and make sure the area on the car is nicely warmed up as well. Maybe some clear silicone and if you can rig up a 'press' against the areas where the lifting occurs and leave that in place overnight that might help to complete the bonding? I used silicone when fitting the mudflaps, although one rear one needs re-doing as I did not keep some pressure on for long enough
8. You are seemingly taking the adverse comments personally John. We know the supurb quality of your own work - there are ample threads on here to vouch for that and I sure there are many of your colleagues at Jaguar who are equally as particular about their work and good at what they do. The fact is manufacturers (and their agents) go through difficult times - look at Alfa Romeo, Vauxhall, Skoda and many more - they have all been the butt of many adverse comments and went to lows at various stages because of the crap they put on the market for sale. Now look a Skoda for example - http://www.which.co.uk/news/2010/05/sko ... 10-214579/ Nissan still produce some crap cars that just don't sell and have got 'pulled' after a short life span. By and large the 350 has an enviable reputation and yes you will always get the odd rogue one but I can tell you that of the many, many cars I have had over 45 years of driving none, bar none, has been more reliable and given more satisfaction than the two 350's and 370 I have been fortunate to enjoy.
9. Having experienced both the 452's and 050A's I would not say the latter are very much better than the Falkens, for everyday road use. Yes, if you plan to drive the car very hard most of the time and on track the stiffer sidewalls of the 050A's will be better. The difference in price reflects the difference in performance - not that much, IMO. But you should certainly get new fronts as well as the rears with the tyre depth you have left. If not, you may even find the ESP cuts in a little too often spoiling the driving pleasure
10. Didn't you threaten to ban Zugara for that?? ? Pics of the car of course - usual request with newbies
