  1. That is one slammed 350, but hey Stew don't tell me you posted that cos of the car or the BMX
  2. Hope you have a good weekend...................and your engines last the race. Hmmm...... all I can say having just booked tickets on a A380 to Oz and back for next year at least the airline I am with isn't using the Rolls Royce engines: Quote from BBC news: Other A380 operators Singapore Airlines, Air France-KLM, Lufthansa and Emirates reportedly said they had no plans to ground their fleets. Many use A380s equipped with jet engines built by a consortium Engine Alliance, unlike the Rolls-Royce motors used on Qantas A380s.
  3. I would have thought wind-up gramaphones were more suited to your stable of cars
  4. Gay From a man who runs a Jaffa Orange wagon, a Cherry and a Beetle
  5. Nice and two different cars on that vid.
  6. one careful owner http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2222331.htm Yep, Audi RS4 for me
  7. And the words of the wise who has already been there and got the 'T' shirt - I'm sure if Alex had a feel there was a genuine market out there he would egging this on.
  8. Welcome to the forum This kind of thing appeal - pics start about a third the way down page 2 viewtopic.php?f=19&t=36654&hilit=wales&start=15
  9. Have you done what Lexx said at stages 3, 4, 5? The adaptor can deal with 4 or 5 different phones (from memory) so it should pick yours up. Try and find a quiet spot so you do not pick up other bluetooth devices - I remember trying to do this once in a High Street and the poor old phone nearly died of shock with the number of devices it picked up Make sure you have followed the steps on page 4 of the handbook to make a successful 'pair'. If your car has had a previous owner, have all his phone contacts (max of 50) been deleted - follow the procedure on page 13 in the handbook if not as that may stop new input. Good luck
  10. Here is a link to the handbook istructions, if you do not have one viewtopic.php?f=9&t=39492&hilit=bluetooth&p=594231#p594231
  11. Allegedly, UK 350's have 80 litre tanks whereas JDMs have 70 litre tanks.
  12. Welcome to the forum Steering wheel and guages suggests it is a UK car - but the rear number plate area - oblong (UK) or squarish (Jap). Unusual to have 'speaking' reversing sensors

    Tyre Pressure

Just use one of the cig sockets - either the one in the central storage cubby by your elbow or the one next to the pasxenger glovebox. On my pump guage the reading at 2.4 bar is more like 33psi when checking with a more accurate guage so you might want to check the readings

    Tyre Pressure

Think you will find that is another option the UK market does not enjoy (like the fact the mnaual says you can raise and lower the windows with the key fob, but you can't here). All to do with the ECU changes when the UK alarm/immobliser is added I believe. The good news is that the tyre pump supplied with the car is pretty good, but check the valve isn't leaking and if not that sounds like you picked up a nail or something Hopefully in a repairable part of the tyre tread.
  15. If you are limited to a pre 23/3/06 car you are unlikely to find anything other than a 276 ZED.
  16. Well done Alex And loving your new sig but hey I did not realise you had two beasts and one is a left hooker
  17. As you are kicking your heels at the mo..... (sorry about that ) perhaps you can see what could be set up for next year? The team are currently sorting out the calendar of events for 2011 so it would be good to slot one in, say spring time next year when the weather is usually wet
  18. Looks like you had some fun and a good introduction to finding your cars limits, as the title says. Certainly something we should be looking at as a forum and yes, best on a wet day to start with and being a little easier on tyres.
  19. It was offered whan I mentioned about the need to renew the rather measely 1 year cover from new and guess the odd reference to this forum might have helped
  20. Have you seen this guide - it is a manual, but..... ? http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-do-y ... -370z.html
  21. Strange it seems to suggest the 'applied vehicles' is limited roadster version of the 370 though?
  22. Yes, over a year old now (although I bought on New Years Eve) so with 6k miles coming up its first service was due. Local Nissan dealer (Wilsons of Epsom) were not up to the job as they had no trained technicans although they had satisfactorily serviced my previous 350's, so off to find a Nissan 'Performance' centre to get the all important stamp. Having heard Will350z's experience of Motorline Nissan at Tunbridge Wells, decided to entrust the service to them together with a 4-wheel laser check. And I have to say I was very pleased with the way they dealt with me and GUNS. Straight away my car was driven off the forecourt away from potential doorbangers, and then June and I having been dropped off in the town and then picked up when the work was done GUNS was parked on my return in a safe place away from other cars. Upon inspection, no harm done (always a worry having had some bad experinces in the past) but what really impressed is that the service manager Ian Fraser could not have been more helpful - perhaps me showing a pics of GUNS at events when I arrived helped to confirm my enthusiasm for the 370. Having supplied my own oil (Silkolene Pro) the bill came to just over £200 for the service; engine flush: 4wheel alignment check/adjustment and a year of Nissans RAC breakdown cover, which for this part of the world seemed quite reasonable. Pleased to say that driving the car since has confirmed all is well, although the technician pointed out that the front discs are showing signs of slight distortion which I have since monitored and have noticed is getting more pronounced. The 370 is certainly more prone to low speed tramlining than my previous two 350's and I had not really noticed anything else before the service. Hence the 4-wheel check after having tried directional tyres (Falken 452's on the 19" Nismos) to see if that made any difference compared to the OEM non-directional Stones 050A's, but the tramlining was just the same so I guess the suspension set-up is responsible. But once you get up to speed the issue disappears so no big deal, but the disc distortion is something I am going to get done as that can be expected to get worse. So all in all I was happy with the experience at Motorline Nissan TW and would not hesitate to go back there. Anyone else on here would be advised to call Ian Fraser 01892 500700 and mention your 350z-uk membership
