  1. That was my thought - have you checked the pressures (35psi when cold) and maybe your old tyres where under inflated? As has been said many times, in the dry you get away with virtually any old tyre, but see the difference when it is wet - with the tyre depth you were running on the rear with 040's in the wet that was a potentially lethal level of grip you had there
  2. Wonder how the Health & Safety types would score this - especially with a minor/3 aboard
  3. Be interested to hear what AK350Z and Chris`I think about the boofsquire and seeing they do one for the 370 http://boofsquire.com/pages/370Z.htm BTW, I AM NOT TAKING UP BIKING
  4. Great choice and good luck to you Tip though - don't mix your tyres
  5. Mark: You know from our chat at Santa Pod I'm in with the 370, once you have the dash light issue sorted
  6. It was a pleasure to help you out Mark And now Graham, an in-car electronic installer, knows the ZEDs have two cigarette lighters - that gets my own back for calling me Chris
  7. I would like to hear that Nismo exhaust. I was put off from reports from the States where it is was suggested it was too quiet. Having had one on the 350 it was just right for me and build quality was supurb - yes I would say the finish was superior to the Stillen, just. I got the Stillen last December for about £1200 all in, including shipping/taxes. One of their regular sales Traders here are really missing a trick with a distinct absence of aftermarket exhausts on offer for the 370 - the one thing the car really cries out for.
  8. What has not been made clear is this is a MY06 facelift - must be one of the first in the UK - so an absolute steal at £12.5. The mileage should not be an issue - we all know the ZED engines go on forever with a regular servicing, as this one has, and remember that although the road tax on a pre March 06 is currently cheaper that is being phased out so all 350 owners will get stung the same.
  9. Yeah , but I have to take her to Italy to get them
  10. They project about half an inch at the top, just enough to read the 'Stillen' engraving on the top of each. The main difference compared to the OEM is that they are vertical rather than raked and of course the 4" bore makes them a little more prominent which is what grabs most peoples attention Before To show the projection The view most see And now with 6k miles of carbon in it...... No regrets at all.
  11. If you got Midge to dress up as Santa and deliver it with a personal show for the lovely Liz you might just get away with that But how much would his fee be - could be an expensive iron
  12. Virtually the same as me (full no claims/no points/business use) - with Chris Knott and all mods declared - nice thing was when I added the spacers after signing up just gave them a call and they noted it with no extra charge. Previously with Admiral on their multicar - when it came to renewal they clearly worked on the basis I was 'hooked' and nearly doubled the the premium - so I left. Also a bit concerned that only one no claims bonus might be counted in the future but Chris Knott was happy to provide two different policies with max no claims (one the ZED and one for the Jazz in the +1's name) so we didn't lose out.
  13. So I'm OK then with my white hair Correction, more like no hair
  14. That is a good price for a 313 - only thing that is missing is the service history. I see the badges have been changed, otherwise it looks OEM.
  15. Bagged by Zurgara who was first off the blocks
  16. As per pics: REAR VIEW FRONT VIEW holes are from my phone holder - either re-use them or use new ones - will be covered by the holder in any event. It just clips in the trim 'grooves', no holes or marks when you remove it. All that is needed is a holder for your phone - see link: http://www.dsldevelopments.com/brodit/M ... Holder.asp Only condition is you must have at least 50 posts on here. pm if you want (first come first served and free postage in UK)
  17. Following on the Touring Cars is action from The Goodwood Revival - a great meeting and the some of the action with the historic cars worth a £1m+ is to be admired
  18. Yep - an impressive location - so something to visit during the next Wales drives Bat heaven The odd vertical 'clouds' in the first pic are vapour/steam from the Cadburys bean plant - unfortunately no public visits there
  19. Whatever the dentist or doctor's have lying around in the waiting room. More seriously, Car and EVO when I get a good pay day - even better when I get a year's worth as a birthday/Christmas prezzie
