  1. Shoddy workmanship by that fitter then it seems
  2. Watch out Graham - I felt exactly the same over 5 years ago when I got the first ZED and still have the same feeling three ZEDs on
  3. And did you see we have a spy in there No issue with personal opinions about the merits of 350/370's but I do object to total crap when someone suggests the 370 is 'dirtier' in co2 terms when it is actually 40g/km lower than the 350 and therefor falls in a lower tax bracket.
  4. Was he dawdling along.................again. (Sorry Colin, see you next week ) Hmmmmm.... after that perhaps I might review our arrangement, with others knocking on the door
  5. Yep, it might just as well be there for decoration Just put a spanner on it - its just a bolt with a spacer underneath
  6. Couple of vids - fraid the weather killed the drag action First one - RX7 farting - even that was deafening at tickover standing nearby Mazda RX7 dragster - Santa Pod 3-10-2010 And deliberately chose this one as it was a woman driver Drifting at Santa Pod 3-10-2010
  7. On the face of it looks a good buy but do all the usual checks (especially for crash damage). Exhaust looks aftermarket (no rolled tips). Mileage is not high IMO given it is 7 years old, but the lack of full service history needs to be carefully considered.

    RS200

They had one on display at Fords M53 Showroom in Ellesmere Port in 1989. I think it was one of Ford's works rally cars, it wasn't for sale but 80k sounds about right. It's the only one I've ever seen, looking at those pics of it, those tyres look very interesting, at first glance they look to be worn out on the edges, but I think that it's just an unusual tread pattern, not sure what the police would make of it though . Pete So much for the recession then - guide price now (taken from the link) : This car is trully something special, to think that back in the 80's this is what a manufacturer could produce, a proper space framed car with twin shock set up, adjustable 2/4WD with the push of a lever, Intercooler thicker than anything i have ever seen mounted at the top of the car to give full on effective cooling for the turbo, that to be fare was similar in size to wales. Absolutly stunning and left me a bit speachless in these days as if felt like a true masterpiece preserved perfectly for its, !!!!NEW!!!! owner as the car is going up for sale. Any seriously interested buyers in this car please send me your details via PM and i will forward to the owner. Value put on this car is £150,000ono Trust me you won't find a more special example,
  9. Compare to this - higher mileage but look at the spec/history: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=41588

Had to laugh seeing Clarkson going off road on the video. Mega machine though.
  11. I see you have taken the alcohol advice for your flu then
  12. nah, its cos he's o'rish an its the way they tell 'em
  13. Having had the pleasure of travelling up to santa pod yesterday in ebizeds 370 that has a stillen I couldn't agree with you more. It sounded fantastic and far better than the stock exhaust on the 370 I had for a week. Nice and deep when you want it and not intrusive when you want to sit back and cruise on the motorway. Must have just been my driving then that put you off having a lift back, rather than the noise Bloody M1 and 50 mph restriction the whole way from the M25 to the A509 and not a workman in sight - OK it was between 06.30-07.00 on a Sunday morning, but come on.... opps sorry, went
  14. Happy birthday to two of the forums long termers but not fogetting bakseedaa (Hi Paul ) and BRO-T who I see also share the same day
  15. And then you get back and go for more frolicking in Wales Some nice pics there - not going to say which ones. Love to see the ones you have not shared though
  16. A few more pics: Tastey: All the dragsters got to do was the occasional engine warm up But otherwise this was the strip all day This RX7 was making a lot of noise and attracting mega attention: Abbey were there with their ZED -there are few giveaways of its origin Thanks for the helpful advice as well Mark The cockpit is something else........ The Cheshire cat, or should I say Chesterfield cat, is Shire350Z And talking of Shire here is his car eating mine A couple for Mitch And to add to those jak has posted up:
  17. Great pictures Jak - despite the weather And a a lovely touch from Mitch who bought the flowers and pic/note which remained in the centre of the ZED display for the whole day, in memory of member Ian L who sadly lost his life recently. I'll get some pics up when photobucket gets it finger out

Good to hear you up and about - lots of time to plan that big drive out you have in mind eh In the meantime guess us southerners ought to arrange a drive-by to help your recovery. Hmmmmmm...
