  1. OK - the weekend is based at Moreton Park again but for those not familiar with the venue here you go: http://moretonhotel.moonfruit.co.uk/#/home/4535599290 REMEMBER THIS EVENT IS FOR ZED OWNERS ONLY, given that we tend to get in excess of 50 entries. We have secured at least 30 rooms for the nights of the 20/21/22 May (if you wish to stay for 3 nights). But the 21st will be the busiest and the advice is get booked NOW. That will reserve you a room against your credit card, which only becomes payable when you arrive or if you don't show and don't give 24 hours notice. The telephone number for bookings is 01691776666. Eileen, Jackie or Jenni will normally be your contacts there. We would ask that you only book if your are serious about attending as last May there was a struggle for some to get rooms. Should you find you cannot attend please let me know first so that we can re-allocate your room to another 350Z-uk member, otherwise it will go back on the public availability list. When booking please provide your username, as well as the other personal details they require. This will help us monitor bookings. We have negotiated a price of of £47 (single)/£54 (double) per night which includes a full English breaky(s). You may find you can currently get a cheaper price on-line but you are likely to find that there is no refund for cancellations and the price will not include the breakfasts. It is also expected that once bookings start rolling in those 'offers' will soon disappear. PLANS FOR THE WEEKEND (The choice is yours): Link to last May's eent (photos start here): viewtopic.php?f=19&t=36654&start=15 Saturday21st: A drive-out in the morning - roughly expected to be around a 100 miles, using roads we have found to offer some nice challenges for ZEDs and to include a short break for refreshments. Expect to be back at Moreton about 2pm. More deatils to follow once the roads have been checked nearer the time In the afternoon we are hoping some traders will turn-up, which Moreton are happy to accommodate, and time for car cleaning (weather permitting) as there will a prize or two for the best ZEDs (your comments as to how any prizes should be awarded welcome - so more deatils to follow). No doubt Moretons bar will be busy In the evening Moreton are laying on a BBQ for us (again weather permitting and priceed between £12-£15 per person). We will have use of a large room in any event. For the +1's there is the option of a train-ride to Chester for the day (from nearby Chirk Station) for a bit of retail therapy. In addition, the Moreton Park Garden Centre right next door offers far more than just the name suggests with various retail outlets and eateries. http://www.thebestof.co.uk/local/wrexha ... ntre/26689 Sunday 22nd: The big drive-out using some of the old favourite roads but with some new roads, and yes for those who have been asking you will get to the coast this time Departure time likely to be 10am. Lunch (carvery) at the Waterloo Hotel in Betws-y-Coed. Those on last September's Sunday drive will recall they did us proud and the cost remains the same at £10.00 per person or £13 per person (the puddings were to die for ) The route will cross will allow for those who have to leave early to get easy access onto the A5, otherwise the finish at Moreton will be around 5pm. Total mileage is about 155. Evening meal is a free choice at Moreton (or elsewhere) if required. THINGS TO DO NOW: 1) Book accommodation (if required) 2) Send a pm to a team member so they can add your name and if you have a +1 to the list and whether you will be taking part on both days or just one and mention the nights booked see viewtopic.php?f=57&t=43278. 3) Any queries - either post up or pm me or Beavis. 4) Wish the time away.
  2. Welcome to the forum Look out for the next 'Surrey' meet and come along - we have been using "The Owl" at Kingsfold on the A24 of late as a meet venue so not far from you
  3. Locked thread -tut tut Hugh, posting in the wrong section, and a year on .
  4. It seems great value, if it all checks out Temper is relatively rare, but that in iteslf may help on a private resale. I can understand though that some dealers will shy away in the same way some have a thing about sunset 350's, but then again they probably do that will all colours that are not in the grey spectrum
  5. It could be a number of things - suggest you first do an advanced search with " Engine malfunction light". That throws up a page of possibles. Could be just a glich with the bad weather affecting the battery and might clear itself but otherwise you may need to connect up a code reader to identify what has tripped it and then take it from there.
  6. Thread locked as all items sold.
  7. Have a good one - plenty of Krispy Kremes, eh
  8. Wow Dave, you really loaded then To say get the ring and you'll pay the bill with no limit means she might come back with one of Liz Taylor's rocks Seriously, many congratulations - and theres no doubting, 2nd time round you make the same mistakes
  9. Time for a change to the title then
  10. The existing exhaust all fits in the 370 with no problems (been there and done it) - just suggest you take some big strong plastic bags to put the sections in and old sheets etc to protect your trim
  11. Can you live with the damage on the ST and use it as it is? In which case use the £1550 (or whatever you can get) for ZED bits
  12. Bad news swooper, hope you get it sorted. Some info if you have not already checked: http://www.kent.gov.uk/roads_and_transp ... amage.aspx Some advice here ( a dedicated pothole website) http://www.potholes.co.uk/claims/step_by_step_guide
  13. I thought I had been Dave when I saw the white screen
  14. Oh yes, very much at home All gone now - must have been one last blizzard to clear the screen And I got the answer "I've broken it"
  15. Rumour has it the eye of the snow storm centred on Chesterfield
  16. You were lucky to see that much - just all white here
  17. Bloody snow - couldn't see a thing this afternoon
