  1. Given the limited rear/side vision with the mirrors and number of comings together, I'm surprised the use of rear facing camera(s) has not been used given the miniscule size of the things these days coupled to a panoramic screen display that could sit in the position where cockpit wind deflectors? Weight/aero saving by ditching the mirrors, given they are prone to shake/falling off, apart from the fact the drivers are forever complaining about the limited vision they offer. Might help the overtaking scenarios and help prevent the type of in incidents that took out Kimi and Max yesterday.
  2. "Today, Porsche built the 1,000,000th example of the most iconic sports car ever: the 911. Modeled after one of the first 911s ever built—and Ferdinand “Ferry†Porsche’s personal company car—the Irish Green Carrera S packs many parts from Porsche’s Exclusive options portfolio as well as bespoke parts designed to bring it as close to the original as possible. After a global tour and drives in the United States, at the Nürburgring, and elsewhere, it will take up permanent residence at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart." And it's a left hooker Hugh so wave goodbye to that one
  3. As others say, get the suspension checked and alighnment done. Having never heard of the Cooper tyres you are using, googled the review: http://www.tyrerevie...on-CS-Sport.htm Couldn't help notice the handling did not score well and from the review feedbacks it sounds like they have relatively soft sidewalls which makes me wonder if they are not working so well on the Zed as on your Focus due the weight and being rear-wheel drive as opposed to front wheel drive? Maybe try incrrasing the tyre pressures?
  4. The GT4 made in 2005 have the rev-up engine.
  5. See here: Maybe worth pming one or more of those who looked into this before, or resurrect the thread with the question you have. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/73745-connect-premium-x9-20122013-update/page__hl__discs
  6. Not in the UK as your daily commute I bet!
  7. please don't shout at me - only trying to help
  8. Not quite sure what you are asking, but the disc upgrades are for the maps and do not affect the search functions.
  9. You are best off taking your car to a ZED specialist as Mugwump says, as the timing chains are very durable and with no odd noises I find the Nissan dealer's diagnosis hard to believe. Given you are off to Horsham Developments next Friday, let them give you an informed opinion - just ring to let them know beforehand so they can allow time and check the chain/sensors before the uprev.
  10. As your 370 is a 2009 build that would be pre the connect system and when I had mine you couldn't add the post code as aftermarket or disc upgrade. That said, I found using the address would take me, more often than not, right outside the front door of the property I was visiting. The sat nav disc goes in the changer behind the driver's seat. 11. Great pics - thanks for sharing on here
  12. Maybe http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/116128-370z-gt-edition/
  13. Nice cup and nice smile there Andy but us armchair types now want the evidence as..........
  14. Japs produce some good stuff and some dire stuff, then there is stuff that you wonder if a single brain cell was used.........and for Nismo to put their name to that is beyond belief.
  15. I made sure they were out thanks to the info on here so that's was a bonus.
  16. Did you ask the local dealer if the transit packers in the springs had been removed - given what you have just said about next nothing having been done by the supplying dealer?
  17. Mine is brand spankers, just picked it up yesterday so i am bound to Nissan for at least 3 years. Have a look here for dealer recommendations, but bear in mind that as long as an Indy uses Nissan parts it does not affect warranty - becoming more popular to do this and if I were to buy another new 370 I would take to somehwere like Kaiser Motors (trader on here) notwithstanding it is a 2 hour journey, as I know a proper job would be done - in their case - ex Nissan High Perfornance trained and award winning credentials.
  18. Maybe......if I fit tractor tyres lol No, seriously, North of the island is pretty much single track roads, and I have never, ever seen a modified car of any kind up there..yet You missed us in 2011? ......and in 2009 http://www.350z-uk.c...skye +martinmac great memories
  19. A very warm welcome from me and and hugely valued the one-to-one day with Colin in March 2012 - great advice both out on the road and at Millbrook to test the car and my limits. With Colin's 350/370 knowledge and love of the cars I would not hesitate to recommend anyone wanting to find out how to fully enjoy their ZEDs - it is one of the best driving experiences you could do.
  20. Given the shocking prep you experienced you better check the spring transit packers have been removed: http://www.350z-uk.c...ransit-packers/ On the petrol issue, I do wonder how many dealers would put in Super unleaded so for me as long as the there was enough to get to a petrol station and add the correct grade I would be quite happy not to stomp up the £100 or so to the dealer so to not have full tank of 95 octane. Charging for mats with no discount is taking the mickey......
  21. You sure you not got a stone caught - can be hard to see without a good look?
  22. A bit out of date fella You are best advised to go to an specialist ZED Indy for not only a good price but for good work
  23. Have you checked to see if you can do a personal search at the LA concerned? Done in a day normally - there are people who do this for a relatively small fee. Sadly it is all too common for solicitors to not do the searches as a priority, on the basis (questionable) that they want to see there is a good chance of the sale going through and all too often the searches throw up something that puts a spanner in the works. https://www.estateag...ficial-searches
  24. Whilst TM has clearly decided she wants a vote of confidence, quietly I bet she hopes it will lead to huge egg on face for JC and he finally gets the message to give up the leadership. My guess is she would prefer a more effective Labour leader that represents the wider views of the 'opposition' than just those who seem to be stuck in th seventies. He is another Michael Foot - stuck in left wing politics that does the Labour Party no good at all. Being challenged by a more creditable opposition leader would be far more welcome to help TM tailor the Brexit negotiations to to represent the majority of the population. OK, putting aside the die-hards who would only ever vote for 'their' party, we all know it is the majority of the population who the Parties look to convince which way they vote and whilst some will tick the boxes of the minority Parties.......or just not vote at all, TM knows she has the best chance atm to get her and the Conservatives back in. Most voters will surely be thinking that way and the only danger is too many don't bother to vote as the outcome is all too predictable.
