  1. Morgan driver's fault 100% No idea from that video what the visibility to the left was like but there is clearly enougfh room to wait at the central reservation, if there was any doubt about a gap being available which the Morgan driver either did not see properly, misjudged the gap, or I'm afarid his attempt at showing the Morgan was quick off a gravel surface on lock was a complete fail. Dangerous driving/driving without due care and attention notice coming his way - looks like the police were nearby - maybe monitoring the event anyway.
  2. Im sure Marcus would get to the bottom of what is causing your problem: http://www.discskimmers.com OK, distance may be an issue but he travels and maybe you could sort something out.
  3. Don't you just love Max - masterclass by a teenager on how to drive the first lap in GP: http://f1.channel4.com/video/verstappen-storming-first-lap/ I bet Lewis is just glad Max was not available to replace Nico because had he had the Mercedes power the way he drove in China there was surely no way he would not have won the race.
  4. Credit to you for taking on board the comments and I do have to add looking at your pics makes me want another ZED......
  5. More specifically, is the car going to have to take a driving test And who will be the examiner....another box of electronics sat on the passenger seat? In all seriousness, unless there are specific roads identified for the purpose (M6 toll comes to mind) if the technology is allowed to takeover on anywhere roads in the remainder of my lifetime, think I'll move somewhere that cars for us petrolheads are not allowed.........except on private land
  6. My experience of the reliability of electronics in everyday life scenarios is such that I place far more faith in the human brain driving cars around on our roads as they are today, albeit they are not always reliable but for me remainfar more adept at making split-second decisions in a whole raft of different issues we all come across evey time we get behind the wheel. Whilst controlled environments for travel like air/train/tram/sea travel etc works with electronics taking charge, the endless list of potential pitfalls (including potholes! ) on our roads makes me quite glad I won't be around long enough to see the carnage.
  7. May be I am out of touch, but I am struggling to recall a 350z that started out (OEM) with either 276hp or 296hp at the fly that without FI has made 350hp with bolt-on parts and an uprev at the crank with graphs to prove?
  8. I see now where you got the hump idea from 115462-selling-my-atom
  9. Is this Lambo friend the same one who owned another vehicle that you stuffed Dan?
  10. The mind boggles at TM and NS doing that........and to who So the Scots want a divorce from English and believe they can get a new partner(s) with Europe. Anyone like me wondering just how long the European Union will last given the policitcal unrest that is festering there and the Scots will be knocking on the door for a re-marriage? Trouble is; the crystal ball gazing that is going on about the outcome in 2+ years is meaningless, Cameron having made one of the biggest political mistakes with his YES/NO question decided on by most waving fingers in the air as to what is best for the UK.......
  11. The wide and often deserted roads in north Scotland would be ideal in my experience of several trips north of the border.......if you could extend the time And get in before they lock us out!
  12. Heads up guys: http://www.buckingha...front-1-7886190
  13. Is the 370 roof operation the same as the 350 guys?
  14. The fact it is hard wired makes that option unlikely I would think. Does the indicator light up at all? Daytime running lights fitted?
  15. If budget is tight and you are not someone who likes to explore the grip levels to the limit then another pair of the Potenzas with a view to changing next time around when wear/grip limits start being an issue for you 4 to (say) MPS4S. (Note the extra S so you don't end up with the MPS4 that are not recommended, particularly for the ulimate grip.) That is what I would do rather than having differing makes/compounds/tyre construction albeit a pair on the same axle, but others will argue you would be fine - but not me though.
  16. Maybe not in this case but having read many similar threads on here, and when feedback does pop up, the battery/earthing has quite often been reported as the problem.

  20. Thanks for the link. They look impressive with my main reservation surrounding the fitment/removal that requires all the air in the tyres to be let out and I'm wondering if the mini compressor you get these days (instead of a spare wheel) are up to the job of getting the tyre properly re-seated from zero pressure? If my worry is founded might be a breakdown call-out if a heavy duty compressor is not available...... Lets us know how you get on with the fitting
  21. 'Cos you haven't suggested one......
  22. Not nice mate - hope you fully recover soon I put it down to all that effort leaning on your brake pedal at Snetterton to slow/stop that orange tank - your body rebelled
  23. Congratulations Ian Look forward to seeing/hearing it - just glad I lived long enough to find out your dedication is fulfilled
  24. Where do you get those Hugh?
