  1. Quite sure you have answered your own question as to the cause and that is not knowing what tyres you ahve on the rear and how worn they are.
  2. Such a lot of wiring for such a little car And to think I had a few passenger laps before all those little, er issues, were found (But was fecking awesome and would do it again )
  3. As an ex-team member we saw so many ads where the rules had not been followed and tried various ways of highlighting the rules, but sadly it just seems there are still those who do not bother to check what you could hardly claim is the small print when it is in bright red at the top of the sub-forum concerned. So don't be surprised if your ad does not get approved when it clear the rules have been ignored - the team do not get paid, in any shape or form, for the time they give the forum that everyone has joined for free so please help them to help you get your free ad displayed and in turn you hopefully have a successful sale.
  4. I recall a few being mentioning their 370 alarms going off randomly in the past and the tilt sensor being identified as a potential cause. Maybe the feature can be disabled/switched so it is permanently 'off' without affecting the resr of the alarm system?
  5. Got my desk calendar today - thanks Stu for a great choice pics and the hard work you put into doing this. í ½í± Just a shame those who did not sign up for one are missing a real treat......
  6. You could be right on reflection Andy about the absence of crease lines - and is that the '2nd' air box hanging by the corner of crunched bonnet? Unless it is a HR bonnet added afterwards, but given the absence of any other mods that is doubtful.
  7. It says it's a HR (albeit reg 2009) but no engine pic and the crumpled bonnet doesn't help, but what makes me a bit suspicious is the GT4 wheels that we know were fitted to unsold rev-up stock that led to late registrations. Just saying, for anyone looking to buy
  8. Don't worry he will have to try them as he needs to keep his commission from Michelin for being their salesman on here.
  9. Lucky escapes by all accounts
  10. Yes, old news - this link helps the understanding: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/Michelin-Pilot-Sport-4-Press-Release.htm
  11. When I was living in Epsom, post the warranty period I took my Zeds to TGM Motorsport at Fleet (ask for Tom). OK, so they are in Hampshire just off Junc 4a of the M3, but they have a god reputation on here for servicing and bodywork on the Zeds. http://www.tgmsport.co.uk
  12. Ditto for me - many just show as "POSTED IMAGE" on my ipad. Shame, as those I can see are really good pics.
  13. That really is an invitation to 'rule' break Best bet is not to read any threads about calendars until the desk top one arrives
  14. First observation of your list of possibles is that you seem to have quite a flexible budget and also 2 or more seats is not an issue. Loads of options in addition to what you have listed then and naturally we all have our likes and dislikes of makes/models irrespective of whether we have actually owned them for a fair assessment. So I will limit my comment to what I have experienced and firstly would say I would have no hesitation in getting a another 370, albeit a Nismo version, if circumstances meant 4 seats where not required, and seeing a 370 is on your list. Been running the A45 for a couple of years now and it is a hoot - as the pro-drivers at MB World said, it is the quickest Merc off the line in both the dry and wet. For everyday driving particularly around the B roads and up to the legal limits, there is not much that can stay with it. Do I love it........hmmmm not as much as I did the 370 as that in comparison is more of a driver's car being RWD, whereas the 4 wheel drive in the '45 limits the playfulness when you would rather prefer to balance the throttle rather than keeping it planted to the floor. I kinda regret putting the MPSS on the '45 and should have opted for some budget tyres.... One great thing with the '45 is you really have no need to change the exhaust as the OEM performance option makes up for the fact the car only has 4 cylinders and not 8. The depreciation on the '45 is worse than the 370 - in fact with all the technology in the car it is not one that I see being a keeper, for long term reasons surrounding maintenance/parts costs. I also notice that most owners buy their 45's on finance deals, something I have never personally done, but I see the sense in that as when upgrading to newer '45s (or 63's) on a new finance deal the main thing to worry about is whether they can afford the new monthly payment. Would I buy another '45? Well, there is a significant upgrade expected in 2018 in excess of 400bhp - 200bhp per litre! (they have to keep ahead of Audi), but given the price is likely to be around £50k that is a bit rich for this pensioner. I will be looking for a change that at this moment in time I have no idea what that might be, but it might be a year of test drives
  15. Then King of the Hammers might appeal that starts on 10 February: https://ultra4racing.com 2016 vid:
  16. Enjoyed that and I bet Ekona liked the result too
  17. Looking at your pic and it may be just a trick of the light, but trust that is not a crack on one of the wheel spokes (the one pointing to the rear of the car).
  18. Let's hope Honda's engine decision "if you can't beat them, join them' works! http://www.motorspor...sor-864024/?s=1
  19. When I saw that figure for McLaren it was not lone before I saw this article suggesting they had sold more than 1500 cars in 2016. http://en.f1i.com/ne...cord-sales.html Something not right somewhere.
  20. Certainly not an issue restricted to Zeds - frightening at times when you see some drivers with misted up windows in all sorts of cars clearly restricting vision. As others have said ^^^^^ use the air-con to help reduce the moisture content that builds up inside the car throughout the year, not just in summer and simply up the temperature as it gets colder. No doubt why most cars with air-con are designed to automatically come on when screen de-mist is selected as it helps to suck/blow out the moisture. Nissan adding air-con as a standard feature in Zeds when they were first produced in 2002 was one of the features that attracted me to the model, but come our cold/wet winters even house windows build up condensation.
