  1. Was the registration tied to the car? Or do you think its been given a new plate and the plates on retention?
  2. Yeah I really didn't want to share this as he's really irritating but the car looks like an interesting one and the owner seems like a down to earth guy. Hopefully get chance to see it once the project is complete, the show season begins and lockdown ends!
  3. Yianni finally got his hands on a Nissan 300zx. I've been waiting for this for ages.
  4. Alfa Romeo Giulia has the best wheels. Has the best everything tbf
  5. One of the people in this scenario was driving their vehicle perpendicular to the flow of traffic. If you want to CROSS the road, you find a safe and sensible place and go over by foot.
  6. I bet that's a foreign language for someone who recently had a V10 BMW
  7. Happy for you @EcoFriendlyAL! Car looks a treat and you've managed to find a few Z forum members who know a thing or two about your BMW. Hope it a gorgeous summer for you and you get to enjoy your new toy! Photos look very nice.
  8. Horsham Developments in Newbury/Reading
  9. Says it all really Stick around on the forum and see what pops up here, pretty sure @Mike k-g is selling up.
  10. Because I can pull my handbrake up and have some tactile feedback.
  11. I have and they're good, just don't expect a Z expert. You can call it an thorough and impartial MOT check. They give you the usual HPI/history check and will get in, under and around the car. When you spend big money on a car, things like this are priceless or a good quality warranty (not the legally required 3 months). Speak to the seller before you go this route, they will usually give permission with no stress but if they don't, then well it tells you everything you need to know.
  12. You run an insurance quote on the car yet? Might be worthwhile just to see how much insurance might differ to a car that hasn't been processed by insurance before. Harder to sell, more to insure and potentially a life long issue on the car. Google tells me Cat S is usually a chassis or suspension issue at time of writing off. I wouldn't bother getting a weekend car that's been written off. Maybe a daily runner which you can run ragged for the last few years of its life, but a 18 plate 370?! That's a no from me.
  13. Part of a bigger plan to break traditional ICE and force us to go new and/or electric
  14. Pick tyres that you can afford to replace (sod's law states you'll find a nail) - avoid budget brands try and stick with the performance tyres for what is loosely a performance car. Brakes, again, pay for what you can afford - ECP is the cheapest but the Z traders will have better brakes (less dust, better performance etc.) Always always keep on top of the oil - it's a solid engine and the more you keep the oil fresh and in the min/max limits, the longer it will last. Torqen, Tarmac, Clark Motorsports are all good/responsive/fairly priced

    10 year service

For all the money and effort people put into their Z, this one isn't rated highly enough. Cheap and so easy to DIY. Glad you've done it and are enjoying it.
  16. Never takes long for a thread to get crapped all over
  17. Best mod you can do for the money, is slap in new diff bushings and subframe collars. Gets rid of the wheel hop and means you actually put the power on the ground.
  18. If you're not interested in the CAI that's one less thing to worry about. Exhausts are unique to everyone tbf, if it's a daily then best sticking with the OEM setup (especially considering it's a NISMO, the more stock you keep it the better if/when you decide to sell). Get a valet/security map, get a 99 octane map and get the additional traction tune. All that aside, just enjoy it.
  19. Nice move. Only mod you'll need is a differential and if you're fussy, a upgrade to the infotainment unit. Looking forward to a few photos of the M140i! It's a beautiful car for the price.
  20. Mehhh it's a modern German car with 101 sensors which will blow apart if, god forbid, you fart too strong. Expensive and without the amazing tax benefits scheme for electric cars, it's just not worth being curious about. I'm sure in 10 years time when depreciation has hit it and superchargers are the norm, then I'll be interested. It does look amazing and it's nice to see another car in the luxury electric bracket. Tip my hat to the engineers behind the scenes - hopefully this car and its tech filters down the the everyday car I'll be using in 10/15 years.
  21. I think my post might have caused some confusion - I'll just call them out. RPM fobbed me off a few times and realised it wasn't worth the hassle going to the closest place. I tried to book with Mitz at Cougar but was told that due to personal health reasons, they weren't open at the time and said they didn't know when they'd be back to normal.
  22. I'll also mention Tarmac Sports actually booked an appointment and were happy to let me get under the car to have a look around, one of the other recommendations on this thread fobbed me off - the drive to Derby is worth the smiles per gallon and the customer service.
  23. Pretty sure whoever you order it from can sort out free fitting - ARK and lnvidia are both best bang for buck. 370z exhausts are pretty easy enough to do yourself if you've got stands and tools and all. You going to keep stock cats or getting HFC?
  24. The closest we've got to an answer to be fair
