  1. The angle of this sketch makes the back end scream R35.
  2. @GranTurismoEra I'm banking on you coming back with leaks you the man when it comes to posting this stuff. Never thought I'd be this eager to see more about a new Z.
  3. So I've got my other Z1 collars and motor mounts on their way over here Had a little drama but ended up with a 2nd set which got here earlier than my 1st set. Will be posting for sale soon if anyone is interested
  4. Be prepared You've opened a can of worms here, isn't that right @EcoFriendlyAL? But seriously, have a little look at the 350z subsection for tyres. There's a few tried and trusted tyres to cover most price ranges and purposes (fast road, all season, track toy etc)
  5. Aaaaaah I'll be sure to keep an eye out. If you some some moron waving (once the world returns to some normality) then it'll be me admiring after a good kobeda
  6. Never seen a Z down Oxford or Wilmslow Road. Let me guess you park up down Hathersage Road
  7. Does this mean no swapping fuses out? Thought you'd need a higher rated fuse for LEDs? The build is looking epic. The lights, the cf and soon the wheels! Amazing stuff mate, gonna be turning heads everywhere you go. Go Hard or Go Home!
  8. If you've bought the car and the seller is happy to pay for it to be fixed then I'd be seriously looking at taking it to your local Z specialist (Tarmac, Cougar, Horsham Dev etc.) and get it serviced and then glanced over by them to see if they see any evident issues. They'll find and fix most problems, you'd rather know about them now and know the seller has offered to fix one issue (might not fix any more further down the line so bunch them together now). But the links above are what you'll need to fix your issue at home!
  9. Welcome to the OC, hope you enjoy the Z life!
  10. After the CSC issue we still want a manual?!

    What wheels fit?

No endorsement, just sharing info. Decent numbers in the video to help start your search and picture gallery linked below. https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery?make=Nissan&model=370Z&sort=date
  12. Personally I'm just surprised at how much gear shifts change when you swap over to a better knob cracks me up every time I say that. But yeah a good gear stick and a good transmission mount is the way forward for spirited drive.
  13. If the car looks like this, I'll be happy enough. Just hope stance wise it has the 370z rear flares and goes retro 240z taillights. Keep the same design brief for driving performance as the 370z and its gonna be on order from me.
  14. I'd agree that a poly aftermarket mount makes the drive feel much more connected but if vibrations in the gearstick are the issue, doubt going this route will settle the nerves
  15. Unfortunately I am running a 370z with Tarmac HFC and ARK GRiP so probably not much help. I'm sure someone will come along with more relevant advice but yeah, do all your mods and then remap to finish it off. Hope you get a chance to enjoy the Z this summer!
  16. HFC do add appeal to the noise and if you're due a remap, it's a definite yes (gains and the true VQ engine note). You in North London?
  17. Not sure but I have my old OEM one lying around if you decide to purchase a replacement - hope it's nothing too serious https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/125265-370z-oem-transmission-mount/

    Tyre Paint

That, good sir, can pull anything off

    Tyre Paint

Ditch the tyre lettering and spend the time/money on painting the calipers (some funky colours and effects around these days) . Only Nissan that can pull off tyre lettering is the GTR imo.
  20. What a beauty! Welcome and enjoy!

    Tyre Paint

Each to their own, you can get decent paint from ebay though it will need constantly topping up and will "yellow" with dirt, salt etc. Some tyres are easier than others, painting Michelins is much easier than painting Hankooks. Can get rubber lettering and glue but tends to be pricey.
