"insert kermit GIF here" Personally I'd like to see the journey on a vlog. 1000 ponies sounds fun, I know a garage in London that I'd recommend (though you're on YT as much as me so you must know of it already) We all wanna accomplish something and if your brother puts the graft in to live the dream then fair enough - I'd be a fan/follower if it gets onto social media.

Save yourself the money and hassle. You've got a car that you know inside and out, with all the mods you wanted etc. If you've got the extra money, spend it on a bike or a few more mods.

lol then what's the point of paying insurance? It's a shame but insurance is to pay out for the unexpected. The damage doesn't look too bad tbh but not sure if it's had any structural damage.

Pretty sure most ICE car makers were involved in aviation or heavy metal industries at some point - not too far fetched to say software companies could be involved with "SMART" cars. Heck I'd trust Apple and Google to make a better autonomous car than Jaguar or Bentley.

Talk to the Nissan garage that initially sold the car, then try again and speak to the management. Send the same email again but include any top brass (Google search em or ask about on this forum). If none of this works, then post photos of the car, the rust and screenshots of your emails to their Google reviews. Simples.

Save yourself the money and don't buy them if you're worried about using the manual key. I doubt I'll need to use both hands to count the number of people on this forum who've used the manual key to get into their car.

I suspect this is more to do with the fact that the car already had a full Nissan service history, than the fact that a reputable mechanic is required.

Not sold on the front end but everything else looks exciting. Looks better than the 370z and the god awful 350z vert.

Mehhh personally I'd never touch a 350z. The 240z and the 370z are the best of the Zs in terms of aesthetics. This new Z looks good, aside from the front grill, I'm happy with the look so far.

I wouldn't touch it. I'd be living in the hope that I could pick up a decent used example of the Z.

Most modern automatics (bar the CVT) are actually more efficient in regards to fuel and speed than manuals. Performance depends on how aggressive its "tuned" and how acceptable its service schedule is. Golf R DSG gave me the education and experience I needed to be happy to go auto.

Nissan transmission At least manuals are easier/cheaper to fix. . . Curious if this will be the first time a Z is quicker in auto than in manual. The 370 was fairly close in 0 to 60 times.

I do like the 370z lights but I wouldn't want them like that again. That style has been and gone, these days it's all about the eyebrows and fancy matrix LED lights. Were also a PITA to polish the haze from and wrap. Not expecting fancy German lights but something with integrated DRL instead of the bolt ons that came along.

BMW is simple. Them (and Audi's) are stolen so quickly and easily these days. Out of the country, stripped down or just random expensive parts stolen and car left in a ditch. I wouldn't think that'd be the only reason but I'd have to borrow a hand to count the number of BMW owners I know who've had their car stolen. Also Greenlight are very picky with postcodes too. Guess they aren't interested in high risk policies (different business models for the various insurers and underwriters)
