Mehhh considering they're so few and far between, I guess I'll stick to being a snake and snap up a German whip. All the reviews seem decent for a Q60 and I have a local example which I can test drive. Just one eye on that comment about importing parts and it's not worth the headache.

Would love to know if anyone here has owned and/or modded an Infiniti Q50/Q60/Q70? Seems like aftermarket parts are few and far between.

Horses for courses. Issue tends to be more about how long your legs are and how broad your shoulders are. A mate really struggles in my Z but he's the same height as me. Personally say go to a dealer and test drive it. Never know they may try and give you a decent deal.

This. Every one of us likes our Z more than enough and I bet its not just the 350/370 in the lineup that does it for us. I'm personally a massive fan of the 240z shape and would love to own one. Could care less about the power anymore. Pretty sure I've heard plenty of the forums about it being all about mastering driving, not slamming a single pedal in a straight line drive. Driven plenty of friends cars that are remapped and on a PCP. The beauty of the Z legacy is how much the aftermarket caters for us, for being able to slam it, stance it, drift it or race it. Nissan have done it plenty of times, only have to look at the Skyline/GTR segment. Granted the world has changed and after the recent era of high class German engineering, all the Tech companies are having a bash. But when all is said and done, I want something JDM and is a continuation of a legacy. I still tip my hat to everyone who continuously posted the rumours and I will tip my hat to anyone who buys it new (means I'll have something to keep an eye out for in the used market)

The VR30DETT is a tempting proposition.

Especially if its bang average still to see a review of the 370z which calls it a decent car. Its always deemed "underwhelming". I've got faith in Nissan to make a good value car.

Gonna say what we're all thinking. I don't give a flying fubar about the sales and costs and whatever. I just want the next generation of VQ in my life.

If you've got "free" breakdown cover via work or bank account etc. then call them out and they can check the quality of the battery for you. I'd keep an eye on it though, sounds like the battery is starting to lose its useful life. Need at least 12.6V IIRC to turn the engine over. Usually the gauge will show a reading a little higher (usually 14V) whilst it's recharging the battery and then falls down to between 12 and 13V once the battery is topped up (20 mins into a drive).

This is why I'd now say this is the best 350z thread going. Epic photos and no hiding the pain of the track life. Hope the repair is quick, easy and cheap!

OK 4 hours in a Suzuki ain't a recommendation 5k would get you a decent 3 series or A4. Perfect for a daily beat em up.

Cheap? Japanese. Reliable? Suzuki/Honda Comfortable? Toyota/Lexus Grab a Civic or a Swift, cheap as chips to run and decent all round cars.

Ask a bodyshop how much they'll charge to fit them. Most (aside from the ones from the US) don't fit well straight off the bat. Quite a few US owners have had to sand them down and fudge them on. Not worth the pain imo.
